Absolutely, that CPU can handle way more than that but not as much as a 7900 XT / 4070 Ti SUPER.

Your limit mostly will be around RX 7800 or RTX 4070 if at 1080P by both CPU and the PSU.

Unless you got some bizarre set of semi-peripheral hardware (5 million HDDs for example), this PSU is an overkill. You will be fine.

You could easily get away with a decent 350w or 400w PSU if you needed to. Unless you have loads of additional hardware like drives, PCI cards etc.

Seasonic B12 BC-550 550W
Thanks for your answers.
Where I live the Seasonic B12 BC-650 650W costs around €10 more than the 550. If the 650 is available in your market and the price difference is €10 or less it might be worth considering the 650 to leave a little bit more room for any future CPU and/or GPU upgrade. Otherwise a Seasonic B12 550 at €61 is a very good buy.

Yeah, the price difference is very small. In this german store it's just €11 between the 550 and the 750.

Not that the OP needs more than 550 W. I used to run my Core i7 2600K together with a GTX 660 TI using a 300 W Seasonic without any problems. The OP's parts uses less power than that.

it will work because you will barely draw any power with the RX 6400. The PSU itself is nothing special but I do understand supply and cost are different in your neck of the world.

The B12 isn't a stellar power supply, but it will work for your configuration. Don't buy into brand hype wholesale, it's an express ticket to disappointment. Research and see if there are better power supplies for the money instead of settling on this one because it's a Seasonic.

Now I came across this one for 63€:
Seasonic G12 GC-550 500W
Which one should I get? I'm building this pc for a friend.

the GC is the better unit, better caps, better warranty (at least in the US) and actually made by seasonic. Fan is still sleeve and the cables are a bit short (only really a problem if you plan to build in a full tower) but hey they had to cut corners somewhere
