LG BH6720S 3D BluRay Home Theater Receiver does not appear over HDMI to 4K Hisense TV, Why?

Hi, I get the boot screen says "LG" over HDMI on my Hisense 43A6H 4K Google TV. After that, it's a black screen & it works on most any other TV or monitor. I have had it work before using a friends HDMI cable. I tested my HDMI 1.4 & 2.0 & 2.1 cables on it & nothing after the LG logo initial post boot screen.

What can I do?

Thanks

Might be the pesty HDCP crap, how ever it normally tells you if it is.

If it is trry setting the google TV as 1080P, thinking if it is that it's auto selecting 4k.

Really? Do I disable HDCP on the TV? Thanks

I cannot adjust the resolution on my TV, should I update the TV to the latest firmware?

Gee, to me the first course of action is obvious: find another cable. Ask your friend where s/he bought his/her along with its make/model number.

Or on your own source a high quality cable. I'd try something from Monoprice. 8K HDMI cables are only a few dollars more than 4K cables these days so you might as well go for the higher specced item. Just make sure you label it "8K" because you'll probably forget at some point.

Best of luck.

Thank you all for the advice, keep it coming lol I cannot forget my HDMI 2.1 8K60 cable from CableCreations on Amazon, it's very high quality. It doesn't work along with all my other cables. Maybe I will try a different firmware on the TV & another input like HDMI port 1...

*Update*
I updated my TV firmware & it's working now. Thanks all for the help!
