I was wondering if you had already been able to download something, don't download especially!! :) You take part in a lot already! :)
I fired up the bedroom HTPC, it should complete its first WU in a couple of hours. :)

I don't think I'm taking part as much as I'd like to (electricity isn't cheap these days), but thanks. :)

Well I'm going to be running a few PCs this evening due to the luck of the electric so hopefully it'll help me make up some of the day time! :D I'll mention it here but put a bit more detail over in the electric thread in the Folding section :)

I'm with Octopus Agile, its a tracker for electric costs and I'm on the same for the gas as well... Here's the prices from midnight tonight...

So the electric that I will use crunching and folding, they will be paying me for so, I can't say I'm going to run everything but I'll have a few machines on :) Here's the prices currently....

So I'd best get my self in gear and get my machines on downstairs so they can get crunching and folding :D More data to follow :)

I didn't know deals like that still existed!

I'm on a flat ~30-ish p/kWh rate, unfortunately, so folding/crunching all day long, or even just overnight for the whole month would cost me dearly. :(

Likewise mate, which is why I only do it during the day or when its minus numbers as I can set a few going and leave them for the 6 or so hours when its 'free' I'm more than happy to let it carry on!!

If you'd like some more info I can ping you over a message, you can read up and see what you think :)

I do find it handy though with the crunching and the solar!! :)

Sure, why not! Paying less for electricity is never a bad thing. Maybe I could crunch more, then. :)

Too bad Milkyway@home stopped with GPU WUs...I did run it for quite some time (126+M points).

Maybe in the future, they will return to GPUs. For now, I am not dedicating any more CPU power to Milkyway@home.

& recently I updated to newer card (RTX 4000), as the older one (M5000) had hick-ups during calc & normal work on computer.
