NVCleanInstall Error: Access to the path ”DisplayDriverExt.dll” is denied.

Hello, tell me what to do when when trying to update the driver 474.14 at the very installation of the driver gives an error : Access to the path "DisplayDriverExt.dll" is prohibited.

You get this error after all the steps, when you click the "install" button at the end?

NVCleanstall has worked before on this machine?

I just got this error myself. Only after finishing the install for version 536.67 and trying to close NVCleanstall_1.16.0.exe

The installation looks fine, but not sure what other issue I might encounter....

Just updated to latest nvidia driver and NVCleanstall (1.16) raised this error (never seen before).

Maybe.
It did happened at the very end of the install.
Earlier installs worked without a problem.

Unpopular opinion; run Memtest on your RAM, potentially defective RAM may cause this.

Yeah access denied usually suggest a timing issue/race condition. But when it's hard to reproduce, it's hard to fix, because I can't investigate/test
