Hi again together,

i did want to let you know what i decided to get. I took all the posts telling me that the hinge could be a problem seriosly. So i got the resultsof my thoughts here:

1 I don't have an other oortunity than taking a flipable because of the needed space. My pockets are full and in that full pockets i have to add the phone. So no other chance. But i can use an additional device at home/office. So i decided to split the usage. When out of the house i will take the flip with me. When at home i will take a tablet. Both devices has to be bought.

1st. I think that i will run with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 best. Especially as it is cheaper than the Motorola whilst having the more advanced technics and double of memory. I will buy a leather case also to get the hpone protected. Leather because i don't like the feeling of plastics when touching. Additionally i will buy a Lenovo Tab 12 with a pen. for that i will buy a keyboard case additionally. When at home/in the clinics/at the doc I can use the tablet to write/read Whatsapp messages and books. Akso i can write messages with that keyboard. When on the road i use the small phone and can store it in my pocket. Ths seems to me as a optimal solution to use the phone lesser and with that protect it better.

Oh,

i disassembled my Nokia to substitute the Akku. It seems that this Nokia 6 Dualsim uses two different types of an Akku. And guess what. I got the wrong one. It has the same electrical parameters. Only the whole Akku package is a few Millimeter longer. I will mout it. I just want to transfer my data and settings to the new phone. After i will drop the Nokia to the garbage.

One can see that the Akku is faulty. One side of the new is plain whilst it is wafy the old one. It looks as the Akku has blown. I made a couple of pictures from that "surgery". If wanted i will post them.

After trinking a lot of coffee and smoking like in hell i made it happen that my old Phone starts up and signals that with a sound. The screen isn't working yet. But that is my last connector. After that the Nokia should run fine. So i can transfer the data from the nokia to the new phone.

Btw. does anybody know if that OpenUI AI stuff can be deactivated in general? I don't need it anywhere. Either the phone needs a lot of CPU performance to run that stuff or it transfers data to a cloud server. Both i don't want and it is for me unnecessary.

I decided to buy a Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. I don't see any reason to have all that AI Sh*t installed. I don't want to have any translating when phoning or other tracking. In general the CPU of the phone is too small to support all that AI-gimmicks offline. That means that a hell of data is transferred to somewhere i don't know and back. I won't have any control over my data. On the other hand i have enough NI to dial a number without AI support. I can speak also on my own without any translation. If i call somebody that person mostly also understand a face2face communication. The Flip5 from Samsng gets the new OneUI version where all that AI-Sh*t is standardly integrated and so for me bloatware. As said here before it cannot be ninstalled that easy. On the other hand Motorola uses a much bigger native Android. The pricetag of both is nearby equal. I will order at amazon or a similar big company without a hazzle of waranty cases.

My phone came today. Yesterday came the repairbase for my Nokia. To make it short. At my own Nokia's Display the cable was broken. At the newer Nokia the screen was separated into two parts and so also broken. As i only have WhatsApp contacts and fikles as the important part on my phone they are lost. I'd thrown away both devices. The new Motorola is partwise configured right now. I will have to see what applications can be deactivated or deinstalled. Whilst configuring the phone rang. Lord. I was shocked about the ringtone. So i downloaded two different ones and combined them. I also got a substitution for the screen background. Now they are StarWars-compatible. More. Darth Vader compatible. One has to set priorities. ;)

Does Motorola still use a HELLO MOTO jumpscare as their default ringtone?

Oh yeah. I changed it quite fast. A self combined one.
First: three breathings of darth vader
After that: The imperial march

Also i changed the background
badass-darth-vader-im-anzug-fygicghwnzr3pans (1).jpg

At the old one i had a similar picture. Only a red tie, no smoking and no gun.

Edit (2024 04 10 11:10):
I had to deinstall/deactivatre a lot of software. From Google, from Motorola etc. I don't care about the outer Screen at all. There is only a unneeded watch running. If i need the phone i opon it. In general it is still a quite unusual handling of mine. I don't use to use a mobile that much. It is primary for phoning and sometimes a bit of messages to friends. Also one time a day i read out the wristwatch with the stepcounter to see how much steps i made the day before. It took me around half a day to search, install and configure the apps i use. Now i need to get comfortable with the size and usage.

The Samsung will require a Samsung account to utilize the software features {which you didn't ask for and cant easily remove} the razr will not.
For me a important reason to avoid Samsung. I have an account at sony because of the warranty-extension for my TV, DAC and amp. Then Sony got hacked. Since then i get mails regulary where the kids try to charge me to pay a certain amount in bitcoins. The write all the time that they took videos of me playing with me whilst viewing porns. To be honest. They can't. My WebCam is safely stored in it's box not connected to the PC at all. The mobile cam is always face to desk laying. But they try it all the time. A few weeks ago i got a mail from an free-of-cost email-provider telling me that the password of my account was changed. The problem? I do not have any account there. So i wrote them a mail to inform them about that circumstance. They asked me for a copy of my passport etc. After they didn't delete my email out of their system because the address was different. I don't trust about the safety of any company. Not only when they charge me to open any kind of account for any free goodies.

Motorola and Google aren't really happy with the fact that i denied a hell of services. Today at around 4 am the phone beeped only to advertise something about Moto.Half an hour later google recommended me to use service blablabla. I don't want all that crappy bloatware installed and running. I don't care what they want to force me too. In every free of cost service i'm the traded good. They collect data and try to sell it. Without notifying me if i want to have my data sold to company Whatever.

The good news of today? My seperate bought cover will be delivered today. In the same colorscheme like my wristwatch and my wrist chain. One has to set priorities. :D So i can dismount thee original cover by Motorola. That is looking so ugly. I used it because it protects the phone and i hadn't had an alternative.

After a first few days i have seen that i never got below 90% of battery till now. For a whole day/24h. Of course i don't know if this is a good or more bad value by my usecase and daily usage. I had a cheap QI-Station to load wireless. That one i use right now. For communication i got WhatsApp running on Windows. I had to scan in a showm QR code to connect the devices. Since then i use that communication way on PC. Because of that i think about buying a smaller notebook with a running Windows. My own device is not capable to run Windows 11. It's now roundabout 7 yeears old. The new Note will substitute the old one. That cannot run on Batteries because the Battery is gone. With that new Notebook i can also run some Windows Applications that should run otherwise at my major Workstation. This would be much more benefical than an Android Tablet. I would install 64GB of RAM and 2 SSD's with 2TB each. That should be enough even i have to go to a hospital again.
