Been a while since I water cooled my GPU (since my 780 GTX's). Was trying to get a MSI 4090 Suprim Liquid X, but couldn't find one for a decent price. Found that the PNY RTX 4090 is a reference card and so the Alphacool Eisblock fits. Looks pretty nice.

I don't know if it all that sexy compared to that gorgeous RTX4090 above, but it is a closeup and it looks neat.

It's an oldie i3 NUC with a GT1030 sitting on top. Here's a shot from the rear:

Currently used as my retro gaming station in my office. It typically hides behind the TV. The 1030 has its own 36W power adapter connected to the riser. The GT1030 is there to drive a 4K TV at native res (that NUC can't output anything over 2560x1600), and to handle expensive scaling algorithms for oldie games.

Considering the whole thing eats less power than an old 60W lightbulb, it isn't much of a heater

Which is good, because it is insanely hot here for like 10 months out of 12.

Yeah, those were back in the days when TPU had a 2 MB limit for photos and hence I had to use Flickr. Probably their terms of service changed and hence they removed the photos. I have the photos still on my PC somewhere and will add them once I get some time.

I’m not sure how provocative this is.. but here is a 140mm fan in a spot where only a 120 would normally fit. Gotta say she’s pretty toight :laugh:

It literally snaps into place, don’t really need any screws but.. it would be a bad scene if it got loose

It’s funny that only my TY-143 fits. I also have TY-147B, and 2x TL-D14X and they will not fit without interference to the impeller.. they all share the same frame dimensions :nutkick:

After nearly 13 years of service, it was time to get a reapplication of thermal paste. Poor thing, but it's better now

It's a PS3 Slim (CECH-2001A) motherboard. You can see the NVIDIA RSX (65nm on this model) on the left, and the Cell CPU (45nm on this model) on the right.

Haha I was is that PS3 or Xbox but PS3 Slim why not like my own softmodded PS3 which is still running with a 250GB Samsung Evo 840 SSD.

Mine isn't modded. I never modded it back in the day when it might've made sense and it was unused for quite a few years. Nowdays used Bluray games are so cheap that I just bought a bunch of ones I didn't play back in the day off ebay at a couple of dollars a pop. The HDD did die, so it got replaced with a totally period appropriate 60GB SSD that's about as old as this thing and was languishing in my spares box.

Here's to hoping it lives a long time. I really like it lately for some reason. I play more on it than on my PC.

I use it for playing old PSX games like Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 2, Old Need For Speed and so on even from the HDD which I enjoy.

I do also have a PS4 Pro but the newer games doesn't really catch me that much on the PS sadly.
