SLI @ 4X X8 PCIE... why?!

soo i just configured sli everything is good and all but... GPU-Z tells me that one GPU is at X4 and one at X8... why? i populated the first and the second PCIE, not the third one witch is X4

You using the mobo in your System Specs? If so, double check mobo manual to be sure you are using the correct slots, should be x8 by x8. Check to see if you need a BIOS Flash. Installed latest mobo drivers? Different brands of cards could be the problem, would not think so ...

Put the gpu's under load and see if it changes it could be windows power management

the GPU that is actualy working on X4 is the main PCIE one (WTFFF)

(installing chipset drivers)

nothing... i dont get it... why the main GPU is working at X4?
