When I was a lowly tech support at a callcenter (Microsoft) I bounced from desk to desk, and at one desk there was a keyboard that basically had sticky keys. If you pressed them they would come up with an almost schlopp sound. Imagine the keyboard above, but many times worse. That was when I got into the habit of regurarly dissasembling the keyboards and just wash them.

I'd guess the user frequently ate and drank near it, probably spilled something too.

Probably I'm the next in line, I never let mine get that dirty either since I'm kinda sensitive about messy/dirty things and when I can see dust between the keycaps that I can't blow out its time for a proper cleaning. 'no pets and I don't really eat close to my keyboard or at least keep my hands clean before using it so its mostly dust that builds up'

keyboards get so gross so fast

I just shed a lot of hair every full moon so mine ends up really fluffy

Dead skin is the worse as I used to work in a repair shop few years back and had to use air compressor along with bio hazard full face mask just to blow just about anything out of computers and laptops I seen just about everything would fall out of them. By the time I was finished with the computers they be like nearly brand new given back to the customers

That what I did feel sorry for people breathing it in outside the back of the shop let alone choking on the dirt. I rather protect my lungs than breathing it in to be honest

That's really not all that bad, unless you're a clean-freak, then yes that would be panic inducing..

As someone with a mild+ Arachnophobia that just gives me the creeps, thinking about all those spiders that lived in there.. 'I once had 1 spider crawl into my PC many years ago in front of my eyes and that left me paranoid for days until I found it and got rid of it'

There's only one kind of spider I kinda like, the jumping spider, because they don't slink around like assassins. I had one on me once and it didn't bite me.

They rarely do. While I wouldn't call them intelligent per-se, they are smart enough to know threatening behaviour from normal behaviour. And as long as they don't perceive you as threat they can't escape, they'll just hop away. Otherwise, they will just be their normal inquisitive selves.

As the video shows, very patient, non-aggressive variety of spider. Most of the "jumping" variety are like this.

They can sense uneasiness. They will run away from you rather than jump on you if they sensed you were nervous.

Awww, hehe. That was actually a really cute video. The cute little sound effects and graphics gave me a good laugh as well - and I'm usually terrified of spiders!

I especially like the parts where the little guy looked like he was actually trying to drink the droplet (or perhaps pop it like a bubble?).
