Here we are at the Rosetta Pie Stats for the 17th January 2024!!

Not a bad day considering, so good work goes to @xrobwx71 !! I wish was able to grab some more work to do but it seems "Computer says no!!" lol
I hope everyone else is doing well and is OK?? Here's some server stats for anyone interested

Seems that we have a few in progress, so has anyone had/have any to do?? I've not seen anything in the PCs I've had on sadly... Maybe better luck tomorrow??.... Take care everyone and hope to see you back again for the next update

Well here we are again for the Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 19th January 2024!!

Not a bad day I guess with at least two members being able to contribute... I hope that the stats on the server gets a little better as at the moment the number of work units out there seems a little low to me....

Wonder if we'll have a nice big batch for everyone here at TPU soon??....

Another day and another member managing to get some Rosetta at least Not sure that the stats paint a great pic either but hopefully that'll change about....

Not a bad day here I guess, there's not many Rosetta work units going around according to our server stats below.....

Wonder if anyone else managed to get any work?? It seems to be a little quiet for us on the Rosetta pie front.... Hopefully tomorrow might be a better day! Take care everyone!!

Yes I have mate, got the same 'error' as it where, I'm not so concerned about it but I think it would just allow some other types of work unit to be downloaded.. If my memory serves me correctly, I think @mstenholm mentioned this a while ago, before.... I think I had the same issue and said not to worry about it

@NastyHabits If you want to venture into python jobs then you need Virtualbox. I think that both Windows and Linux have a BONIC version that inclues just that so delete and reinstall but this time tick Install Vitualbox. As I remember it's no picknic to run these pythons but I never tried due to the problems others had.
Edit: Just found one completed. Python on a 13700KF. Similar points as the latest rb_01_23 but less memory used. As I remember you need a big harddrive to run them. This unit used 16 GB!

@mstenholm I removed and reinstalled rosetta@home. I didn't see an option to install VirtualBox, but I do not have the error re:VirtualBox. Thank you for the solution.

Nice one @mstenholm as always!! Thank you, couldn't remember for the life of me what it was for... Remember trying it and it being a waste, so never tried again!!

It's on this page. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php It's 2 different installers one with VirtualBox and one without. (As far as BOINC is concerned)

Well there we are, a little Rosetta Pie for us today Saw that the queue had jumped a little bit but the server stats hadn't been all that brilliant for everyone... As you can see....

Hoping to see a few more numbers on that "In Progress" bit soon enough ! Take care everyone, best get on to the next update

Not a terrible day as far as Rosetta goes, bit more than yesterday, maybe the Rosetta God's where smiling at us a little more?? Still, a little higher with the Server Stats as you can see....

But I still think a little behind the times for everyone to have some work... Maybe soon?? Still, take care everyone, one last update coming up!!

Not seen much else been happening even for the 3rd February but points on the board It seems the in progress jobs has dropped about a 1000 or so from when I got the stats the beginning of the day... Still, things going well Or as expected for Rosetta I think! Here's there server stats for anyone interested

Here we go, we've had someone returning some work for Rosetta, so, here we are with the Rosetta Pie stats for the 11th February 2024!!

Well there we go, our knight in shining armour.... @mstenholm does it again I'm not sure what's going on with the work as I did notice I had a few Rosetta work units today, so hopefully tomorrow I might get to put some numbers on the board myself!! I live in hope though!! Anyways, here we are with the server stats,,,,

Well there we go sadly back to one person again... I'm not sure how that's possible to be honest but I digress, we've some numbers on the board for TPU, that's what's important Hopefully soon, there will be some more jobs and such for everyone at TPU to jump on to.... Speaking of which.....

Well a nice and fairly busy day for Rosetta for a change, I like it!! I hope everyone is having a good day and is OK?? I hope a nice and relaxed Friday for everyone?? Hope to see you back again tomorrow since it seems that Rosetta has a few spare jobs for the moment......

Grab 'em whilst their hot everyone!! Wonder how long they will last as it was nearer to 1.5 million this morning but just, dropped about 250,000 jobs... Impressive!! @mstenholm and @Toothless was that because of you??

@phill I got a few (121 atm) but so did you (70 waiting) and @xrobwx71 for sure got some as well but with hidden hosts we will have to wait and see he did put down 10K already. In fact all of the active members got some. The main problem in getting jobs is that if your CPU have been inactive with Rosetta running the calculated Fraction of time BOINC is running decreases and that value determines how many new jobs you will receive. So in order to get new jobs you have to have summitted jobs recently or you will only receive a limited number, I think that number correspond to the 24 for a 12 core CPU. I´m at 44.69% for my 3900X and I hit the ceiling with 62 jobs with 20 threads running.

Anyways the team will do well the next few days

Well here we are for our Rosetta Pie Stats update for the 16th February 2024!!

Well there we have it everyone, another solid ish day for Rosetta 5 members hitting some scores up on the board, so that's great to see I'm hoping to have a few points tomorrow maybe?? @mstenholm for a great bit of information there and I'm hoping we'll get to see some more points coming soon again tomorrow!! Makes me want to get another rig up and running but the weather of late for February has been rather pants to say the least.... We'll see if the last two weeks will help with the production!! That said I've been great at leaving kit running and forgetting it, so hopefully not too a high electric bill for next month
Oh, here we are with the server stats again....

Well, there's no doubt about it... @Toothless has been here again and filled up on a few 100,000 of them I'm sure!! 64 threads there @Toothless going for that one above??

Well there we have it, a very nice contribution from the team for Rosetta to feed on!! Wow guys and gals, what a massive contribution that is!! Must have been hammering them out!!?? Still, it seems that the server stats are pretty hopeful as well......

... still... But I'd be a bit warey as I think @mstenholm and @Toothless be taking them all before we know it!!
