I don't want to change the CPU and mobo just because I bought them in an emergency when the socket of the 6700k broke

with the options i provided u can still retain ur motherboard and drives and psu SHOULD be ok

I'd send it back, it's freesync what you want, that's the reason you buy a high hz monitor for!!

update,the flicking is caused by this monitor's cr*ppy stock cable. replaced it and fix the problem.
