Make that $390 because California rapes everyone with obscene taxes. Ugh. Why did I move here :(

One of the reasons I left there and moved to Virginia was taxes, car insurance costs, and house prices. (and my ex-wife) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I like the new setup.

Thanks! Incidentally I'm a non-resident of Cali, so they get to nail me with the taxes on merchandise and internet orders, but not on property taxes or on automotive-related taxes; I'm registering my car in Missouri in order to avoid this, and may buy a house there as well.

I'd argue that with all of the 120mm fans in the front and top, you don't need rear fans. My Dell T5500 is like that; a pair of ~100mm-ish fans in the front and then it just counts on pressure pushing air out the back.
I assume you'll be mounting the WC radiator to one of the front fans?

Yeah, maybe you're right - with the four case fans, CPU fan, PSU fan, and two GTX 970 fans, I think eight fans should probably be enough to ventilate my case... I guess I'll just mount my radiator to one of the front fans when I get it.

Well, my bank sent me a prepaid Visa cash rewards card for a few hundred dollars as a result of my spending ungodly amounts of money on my bank credit card over the last 5-6 years and it got here last night, so I went ahead and ordered a 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM kit in silver, a Corsair Hydro H105 dual-fan liquid cooling system, and a tube of Antec Formula 6 Nano Diamond thermal paste to install it with. I'm now awaiting these upgrades, and will soon post to let you know if I screw up the installation and wreck my system lol.

Just FYI, I decided to stop adding to this post and start an actual build thread here...

Again, thanks to everyone for the advice, I feel like I'm on the right track to a strong build now!

Haha, you're little late... I already bought a 4GB 970. It was inevitable, since the 960 only had 2GB of VRAM, which just isn't enough for someone who likes to push their system hard. Also, the new case I bought is a Mirco-ATX case, so I couldn't use that Krait motherboard now anyway lol.
