Lord of the Rings - Gollum
Dead Island 2
The Last Of Us - eventually, when the problems have been sorted.
System Shock - remake.
Half Life 3 - in 2060

Since I never buy PC games at full retail, I have to wait several months for a worthwhile discount. At some point I will pick up

Hogwarts Legacy
Dead Space Remake
Resident Evil 4 Remake

For this reason I have yet to buy Elden Ring. It sits in my Steam wishlist and I get the e-mails when games on my list drop in price.

I might pick up Atomic Heart if it receives a massive price cut.

I will buy Zelda Tears of the Kingdom when it is discounted to $60. It is unrealistic to expect more than a $10 discount from Nintendo on this first party franchise title. That might mean I need to wait until late 2023 or even 2024.

Bayonetta 3 is another Switch title I will pick up at some point.

I have plenty of unplayed titles in my libraries, no rush to pay full price.

The only game that's a for sure buy for me is the upcoming Hades game. Just picked up Dredge, which is decent but not worth $25. More of a $15 game. I find the game becomes repetitive after 15 hours.

From the 20 hours or so of Diablo IV gameplay I saw, seems very boring and generic. They fooled me with Diablo 3 but that will not happen again. As many people who've played Diablo 4 extensively have said, Path of Exile is just much better.

Will be picking up RE4 when they release the alternate path DLC.

BG3 is slated to release in August and that one should be on every RPG fan's radar.

I've already bought Diablo 4 Deluxe Edition so I've burned my budget for a while now.
Rest I will just play whatever I already have/bought on various launchers and also on gamepass since I was gifted a 1 year Ultimate pass till 2023 december so I have plenty of games to play this year.

Not in a hurry with Hogwarts or Last of Us, maybe when they are discounted and I have nothing better to do.

I think most of us are in agreement that it's worth waiting a while after release. The Last Of Us is a perfect example. In fact I picked the Resident Evil remakes long after they came out and at bargain prices, relatively.
$60 is a lot of dosh nowadays and let's not forget Cheapshark either, which is excellent for spotting bargains, not to mention GamePass which I often forget that I actually subscribe to.
Naturally Epic wants me to pre-purchase Gollum, but I can wait...

I just want to add that The Last of Us: Part 1 after one patch is completely playable. I was gifted this game and I have had ZERO issues with it, performance or otherwise. And comparing it to the PS5 version, well its not a fair comparison. I run my PS5 through a 4k Projector and 4k OLED TV and the PC version still looks so much better.

You should really consider getting a Steam Deck or this new ASUS ROG Ally (similar to Steam Deck) coming out soon, honestly I was skeptical at first, I just got it not long ago. I have beaten a few indie games already, it really helps me go in my own little world and just get lost in gaming. I haven't done this many games back to back in years.

Might not be your thing, I'm just throwing it out there, because I have genuinely been surprised how much it has helped me tackle my giant backlog.

Im not much for handhelds. God knows I have tried over the years but if I'm home, Id rather be on my PC or one of the many consoles I have. I do take the switch when I travel, but even then, I don't care for handheld gaming. I never play games on my phone either. I'm definitely a big gamer but for some reason, I don't like portables.

Same, as impressed as I am with where handhelds are i don't like gaming at 60hz let alone 30hz for more demanding games.

I also have a Switch just collecting dust but if I'm going to play handheld games at all it's gonna be old school Nintendo games like Mario and Zelda.
