Under the hood, the Strider Titanium features a single +12V rail design on all variants, active PFC, and most common electrical protection mechanisms. The units also feature a compact 180 mm length, compared to other brands which typically come in 220 mm lengths for this kind of wattage. All three variants come with eight 6+2-pin PCIe power connectors, up to sixteen SATA power, and six 4-pin Molex connectors. The units are cooled by a 135 mm fan, which stays completely off when the load is under 20%. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Seasonic Updates its PSU Product Lines

Rosewill Unveils Four New High-Wattage PSUs

Rosewill flexed its PSU engineering muscle, by unveiling four new high-Wattage PSU lines for PC enthusiasts. Among the four exhibited, were the Aim Series 1200W, the Quark Series 1200W, the Tokamak Series 1500W, and the Hercules 1600W. The Aim series consists of smart-PSUs, units which talk to your system over USB, letting you monitor their key stats using software. The Aim series offers 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, fully modular cabling, a single +12V rail design, and enough cabling for a gaming PC build with up to four graphics cards. The target user-base is pro gamers, who aren't exactly climbing OC leaderboards.

The Quark series is much like the Aim series in its feature-set, and we suspect that the two share a common platform under the hood. The only notable difference here is that instead of the USB interface, and software-based monitoring, the PSU has a set of diagnostic LEDs. Much like the Aim series, the Quark 1200W offers 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, a single +12V rail design, and fully modular cabling, with enough connectors for gaming PC builds with up to four graphics cards. We then move on to the two Goliaths, the Tokamak 1500W and the Hercules 1600W.

Now they proudly announce to be the first power supply manufactory to launch the latest 400W SMPS with the most efficient specification--80 PLUS Titanium PSU.

Keeping the CSR in mind, FSP's R&D teams work tirelessly in increasing product efficiency. Development of what was to become the MIA ICTM(Multiple-Intelligence Ability) began in 2008, when FSP Group started to research active clamp forward topology. MIA ICTM, FSP Group's own design patent, later became the core technology in Aurum series, which were recognized as high cost-performance ratio products by their customers.

It features a single (yes, single!) 133.3A +12V rail design, a durable main transformer, Japanese capacitors, common electrical protection mechanisms, and an intelligent 140 mm fan, which spins up only beyond a load threshold.

Power outputs on the EVGA Supernova 1600 T2 include one 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS, nine 6+2 pin PCIe, six additional 6-pin PCIe (a total of 15 PCIe power connectors), sixteen SATA, six Molex, and two Berg. Available now, the Supernova 1600 T2 from EVGA, is selling for US $449.99.

Thermaltake Unveils Toughpower Titanium 1500W PSU

Thermaltake unveiled its flagship power supply, the Toughpower Titanium 1500W. As its name might suggest, the PSU boasts of 80 Plus Titanium efficiency rating, and offers 1500W of power. That's enough to drive gaming PCs with four high-end graphics cards, or two dual-GPU ones. This unit features a single massive +12V rail design. It also features fully-modular cabling, with sleeved cables, Japan-made innards, and a 140 mm temperature-controlled fan, which spools down at low loads.

EVGA Unveils a Trio of 1600W PSUs

EVGA unveiled no less than three new 1600W power supplies at Computex, including the Supernova 1600 G2 (recently announced), the Supernova 1600 T2, and the Supernova 1600 P2. Their model names should be a dead giveaway on how the three differ from each other. While the 1600 G2 lives up to 80 Plus Gold efficiency standards, the 1600 P2 scores 80 Plus Platinum, and the 1600 T2 80 Plus Titanium. The three feature nearly identical power-distribution diagrams, feature-sets; although we're not sure if the P2 and T2 translate their higher efficiency into more output connectors. Either of the three should be good enough for systems with four R9 290X, or two R9 295X2 graphics cards; but we guess the 1600 P2 and 1600 T2 should appeal to professional overclockers who also plan to throw 150W TDP Core i7-5960X "Haswell-E" into the mix.

Cooler Master Designs PSU that Talks Directly with Your Smartphone

In a bid to take on Corsair's AXi and HXi line of PSUs that can interface with your PC over USB, letting you monitor and manage some of their specs over Corsair Link software, Cooler Master is giving final touches to its own line of high-end smart PSUs, beginning with the Digital 1200. Cooler Master's unique selling point here is Bluetooth direct access. The PSU is outfitted with a WLAN module of its own, letting your smartphone or tablet access it over Bluetooth. Cooler Master will have PSU monitoring and configuration apps on Google Play and the App Store. The app lets you monitor power consumption, efficiency, and temperatures, and tweak PSU fan speeds on the fly. The Digital 1200, as its name suggests, is a 1200-Watt PSU that boasts of 80 Plus Titanium efficiency. It features fully modular cabling, with enough wiring to drive gaming PC builds with 2 to 3 graphics cards in multi-GPU configurations. This PSU's most obvious advantage over Corsair Link, is its lack of dependency on your OS, and stability of your system.
