ARCTIC presents the latest edition of its popular Z and Z Pro monitor arm series while also introducing the all new W1C wall mount. All products are available now in stores and in the ARCTIC Webshop.

The new Gen 3 models of the monitor mounts - Z1 (Gen 3), Z2 (Gen 3), Z1 Pro (Gen 3), Z2 Pro (Gen 3) and Z3 Pro (Gen 3) - are characterized by maximum load capacity, endless flexibility, a simple mounting system and high-quality manufacturing. With a new matte black finish and reworked cable management, the Gen 3 monitor arms differ both visually and functionally from their predecessors. All Gen 3 models have an easily accessible USB hub with four ports and are suitable for both large screens and ultrawide monitors. Extensions are available for the Z Pro Gen 3 series, which allow users to mount one or two additional monitors on top. In addition, the Pro models come with a Micro-USB power supply.

ARCTIC today introduced the new Freezer 34 air cooler series. Development of the new Freezer series focused on increasing cooling capacity. With static pressure optimized P-fans and the improved heatsink, the Freezer 34 series offers high quality products with high-powered performance. The series consists of the standard Freezer 34 model; the Freezer 34 CO, a new tower CPU cooler; the Freezer 34 eSports; and the Freezer 34 eSports DUO.

The Freezer 34 coolers come with all the perks of ARCTIC's high static pressure P-fans: an extended shelf life, a wide RPM range, lower power consumption, high quality bearings and less vibration. Plus, when the PWM signal falls below 5%, the passive 0 dB mode is activated. With newly developed fans, a streamlined cooling fin design, and offset direct-touch heatpipes that distribute heat more efficiently, the Freezer 34 delivers robust cooling for high-end processors with up to 18 cores. During internal testing, at a normalized 28db(A) noise level, the Freezer 34 models achieved results up to 4° C cooler than their predecessor series.

ARCTIC today expanded its range of case fans with the new P Series. The high-static pressure fan line consists of six models, each available in 120mm and 140mm versions. The P-Fans are engineered to maximize the cooling potential of radiators. Their newly designed fan blades enable a focused airflow, which makes them an ideal choice on heatsinks and radiators with higher air resistance.

In addition to the new impeller design, the PWM Models of the P Series (including the BioniX) also feature a new, highly efficient motor technology. Thanks to the Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the latest generation, the fans run smoothly and with notably less operating noise and vibration from commutation without compromising performance and service life.

Dark, reliable, affordable - these are ARCTIC's new CPU coolers, the Alpine AM4 Passive and the Alpine 12 Passive. Both passive coolers are available now and provide silent cooling for the AMD AM4 platform as well as for PC's with an Intel 115X base. The active coolers in other Alpine series will likewise be replaced with newly developed models during the course of the year.

The Alpine AM4 Passive and the Alpine 12 Passive operate fanless and completely silent, yet they are powerful enough to cool all compatible CPUs up to 47 watts. The black anodization of the aluminum heat sink is not just an optical improvement: the heat dissipation of the heat sink is also increased through anodic oxidation.

When Arctic launched the Alpine 12 Passive earlier this week, we wondered why the company couldn't make it AM4-friendly by simply aligning its mount-holes for the AMD socket. Its answer is the new Alpine Passive AM4. This heatsink is slightly bigger than the Alpine 12 Passive, measuring 99 mm x 99 mm x 70 mm (as opposed to 95 mm x 95 mm x 69 mm), and has rectangular mount holes corresponding to the AM4 socket.

The bump at the base appears to be more pronounced, too. If that's not all, it's also heavier, at 557 g, versus 508 g of the Alpine 12 Passive; and yet, its TDP rating remains unchanged - recommended for 35W TDP chips, with 48W being the thermal limit. Your AMD Ryzen choices matching those requirements, for now, are limited to the Ryzen 3 2200GE and Ryzen 5 2400GE, with their TDP rated bang at 35W. The heatsink features a pre-applied slab of MX-5 compound. The heatsink could be priced around $15, and like its Intel-friendly sibling, is backed by a 6-year warranty.

Arctic introduced the Alpine 12 Passive, and here's our cure to your déjà vu. The cooler is essentially an Alpine M1 Passive, which launched early-2016, but is anodized black. It has the same exact design, which involves a large monolithic chunk of aluminium measuring 95 mm x 95 mm x 69 mm, dissipating heat over large ridges; with pre-applied MX-5 thermal paste at the base. Designed exclusively for the LGA115x socket, the cooler can handle TDP of up to 35W, although it's capable of up to 48W. The gaps between the ridges are wide enough to let you bolt on a 92 mm fan for additional cooling capacity. The heatsink is priced at USD $12, and is backed by a 6-year warranty, which could come in mighty handy if the block of metal with zero moving parts somehow stopped working.

ARCTIC adds a new model to its successful Freezer 33 series: the Freezer 33 eSports ONE. This powerful CPU cooler impresses with its high cooling capacity, the simple mounting system, and a new look with colourful BioniX fans. The cooler's offset heat pipes distribute the heat ideally into the heat sink fins. The special thermal coating of the aluminium fins leads to an optimised heat dissipation and in combination with the offset heat pipes an improved cooling performance.

Arctic Cooling has introduced a new tower cooler solution for your CPU of choice. Silently shared on their website, the Freezer 33 eSports One exudes the conventional "gaming" aesthetic of black and red, with a black, 49-fin-stack array, and your choice of a 120 mm black, yellow, green, or white Bionix fan. Arctic says the eSports one is good for CPUs with TDPs up to 200 W, placing this heat dissipation capability on a new thermal coating technology that creates microturbulences, increasing the amount of heatsink area that's engaged in the cooling efficiency of the eSports One. There's also direct heatpipe technology with an offset design, and Arctic says that the heatpipes being centered on the die, instead of covering the entire surface are, delivers maximum cooling performance.

Arctic is pleased to present its new Freezer 33 PENTA, which is not only visually convincing with its titanium black heat sink and the 120 mm PENTA-style fan, but also delivers a strong cooling performance. We designed this special Freezer in close collaboration with our German eSports partner PENTA Sports.

The sophisticated fan controller allows passive cooling of the CPU during simple applications. If a higher cooling performance is needed for gaming, the F12 PWM fan starts up at a PWM signal with 40 % pulse width. This saves energy, extends the service life, makes the cooler at low load completely silent and delivers high performance for gaming.

Update: Corrected socket compatibility. This is a specially-designed cooler by Arctic for AMD's HEDT platform, As such, it offers limited compatibility with CPUs of lower die sizes, which means it's only compatible with TR4, AM4, LLGA2011(v3) and LGA2066 sockets.

Arctic announced the Freezer 33 TR, a tower-type CPU air cooler, designed for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, with out of the box support for AMD socket TR4/SP3r2. The cooler comes in two variants based on color - black with red accents, and black with silver accents. The cooler features a conventional tower-type design, in which four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes, which make direct contact with the CPU at the base, pass through an aluminium fin-stack, which is ventilated by an included fan.

Compared to other Freezer 33 variants, the TR variant features an elongated base, for higher coverage of the Threadripper integrated heatspreader (IHS). The aluminium fins and heat-pipes feature matte-black nickel-plating. The included fan takes in 4-pin (PWM) input, spinning between 200 to 1,800 RPM. The cooler can cope with thermal loads of up to 320W, which makes it good for CPU TDP rating up to 200W, according to Arctic. Besides socket TR4, the cooler also supports AMD's AM4 socket, while Intel support stands at their LGA2011(v3), LGA2066. Available now, and backed by a generous 10-year warranty, the Freezer 33 TR is priced at 47.99€.

AMD has published a list of coolers that are officially compatible with their upcoming Threadripper CPUs. It's no surprise there needs to be a compatibility list - the new CPUs top out at 16-core, 32-thread monsters which have never before graced the HEDT space, with an accompanying large CPU die size and heatsink. The socket being an entirely new affair, a new retention kit must also be made available by cooler manufacturers.

AMD itself will be offering an Asetek retention kit for AIO cooling solutions on their Threadripper retail packaging, which should make most Asetek-built AIOs to be compatible with the TR4 socket. These coolers are automatically added to the list. However, there may be some other coolers that are compatible with the newest socket that are not listed on AMD's site as of yet. For those cases, AMD reminds us all that we should check with our cooling solution manufacturer whether an adapter is available or not, and whether our current cooling solution is sufficient for the task at hand. Arctic today confirmed that its Liquid Freezer line of all-in-one closed-loop liquid CPU coolers support AMD's upcoming Ryzen Threadripper processors. The lineup includes the Liquid Freezer 120 with a 120 mm radiator; the Liquid Freezer 240 with a 240 mm x 120 mm radiator; and the range topping Liquid Freezer 360 cooler with a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator. AMD is expected to launch its enthusiast-segment 12-core and 16-core Ryzen Threadripper processors before 10th August, 2017.

MSI today introduced the X299 Tomahawk Arctic motherboard. A near-identical variant of the X299 Tomahawk, the board features a mostly-white color scheme with grey and black accents. It features a white PCB with grey streaks. The white scheme carries over to the chipset and VRM heatsinks, the rear I/O shroud, the eight DDR4 DIMM and four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots. The heatsinks and rear I/O shroud also feature brushed-aluminium inserts for added style.

The X299 Tomahawk Arctic is a bustling metropolis which draws power from a single 8-pin EPS connector besides 24-pin ATX. The board features a 9-phase CPU VRM, and 4-phase memory. The CPU socket is wired to eight DDR4 DIMM slots, and four PCIe 3.0 x16 (x16/NC/x16/NC or x16/NC/x8/x8 or x8/x8/x8/x8 with 44-lane CPUs; x16/NC/NC/NC or x8/NC/x8/x4 with 28-lane CPUs). The first and third slots feature metal reinforcement. Storage connectivity includes two 32 Gb/s M.2 slots, a 32 Gb/s U.2 port, and eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Networking is care of a single GbE connection driven by Intel i219-V controller. The onboard audio solution combines a Realtek ALC1150 (up to 115 dBA SNR) CODEC with audio-grade capacitors, and ground-layer isolation. The company didn't reveal pricing.

The low footprint of the Freezer 33 avoids interference with the RAM, even if there are two fans used. Fast and easy to install and extremely reliable, the mounting system is compatible with Intel and the new AMD Ryzen AM4 socket.

Semi passive cooling makes the Freezer 33 Series very efficient and extra quiet. During simple applications, such as creating documents, the CPU is cooled passively. The F12 PWM fan only powers up at a higher load, starting at 40 % PWM. In this way, an optimal cooling capacity at a low noise level is guaranteed. The Freezer 33 CO is specifically designed for continuous operation. The Japanese dual ball bearing, used in the "CO" version, reduces rotational friction considerably, is significantly less sensitive to dust and high temperature and hence up to 5 times more durable than other bearings.

With the Freezer 12 and Freezer 12 CO, ARCTIC now offers two compact CPU coolers, which are multi-compatible and also suitable for the AMD Ryzen AM4 socket. The successors of the Freezer 11 series convince all along the line with regards to noise level, cooling capacity, mounting versatility and transport-proofness. As semi passive coolers, the Freezer 12 and Freezer 12 CO also work extremely efficiently as the fan only starts up at a PWM signal with 40 % pulse width.

The fan runs only when it is actually needed, i.e. with increased CPU utilization. In combination with the vibration absorption rubber mounts of the fan, this leads to almost silent operation even at its maximum cooling performance of 150 watts. The 92 mm fan provides an improved air flow, three double sided direct touch heat pipes and 45 aluminum fins ensure an optimal heat dissipation and an excellent cooling power. Unlike the predecessor Freezer 11 series, the Freezer 12 and Freezer 12 CO are multi-compatible and fit Intel sockets as well as AMD AM4.

For the all-in-one water coolers Liquid Freezer 120, Liquid Freezer 240 and Liquid Freezer 360, ARCTIC now offers a retention ring for the new AMD Ryzen processors with AM4 socket. Therefore all already acquired Liquid Freezers can be upgraded with the AM4 kit. The retention module can be ordered directly from ARCTIC support and is free of charge upon presentation of the invoice copy. Arctic announces support for socket AM4 across its range of CPU coolers. The bulk of our CPU-coolers is already compatible to the AM4-socket and needs no further adaption. Among others, these are the complete Alpine 64-Series, all models of Freezer 13 and the Freezer Xtreme. So, whoever plans to switch to the new AMD socket, has no need to do without his reliable ARCTIC CPU-cooler.

Concerning the models of the Freezer 32-series and Freezer 11, AM4-compatibility will be achieved with the successors Freezer 12 and Freezer 33. Both will be available this spring. For the Liquid Freezers 120 and 240, we will provide an AM4-solution from early april: All already acquired Liquid Freezers can be upgraded with an extension kit.

Arctic unveils the Freezer i32 Plus CPU cooler. The enhanced ARCTIC Freezer i32 Plus comes up with an additional Fan to cool down much-engaged CPU's. Both fans are mounted on opposite sides of the radiator and thus provide a great airflow. The first fan pushes air through the heatsink, the second fan pulls the air out of the heatsink.

Inno3D announced the first GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card to ship with a factory-fitted liquid cooling solution, the iChill GTX 1060 Black. The card features the 6 GB variant of the GTX 1060, with 1,280 CUDA cores, 80 TMUs, 48 ROPs, and a 192-bit GDDR5 memory interface. The card combines a custom-design PCB that's identical to the one on the GTX 1060 iChill X3 card the company launched its GTX 1060 6 GB lineup with; with a factory-fitted Arctic Accelero Hybrid S AIO liquid cooling solution.

The Accelero Hybrid S features a pump-block making contact with the GPU, and a secondary-heatsink conveying heat from the memory chips and VRM; ventilated by a 70 mm fan. The block is plumbed to a 120 mm x 120 mm radiator, with an included 120 mm fan. This cooler supports factory-overclocked speeds of 1569 MHz core, 1784 MHz GPU Boost, and 8.20 GHz (GDDR5-effective) memory, which are identical to those of the iChill X3. The card draws power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include one each of dual-link DVI, HDMI 2.0b, and three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ARCTIC expands its fan range - and sets up the 140 mm series completely new. Not only the F14 are available in full model selection for the first time, moreover the big fans are quieter than ever before and equipped with innovative features. The standard class ARCTIC had already previously in the assortment - but due to the innovative design of the fan blades and the impeller the F14 presents itself now significantly quieter than its predecessor.

F14 Silent - Specially optimized for silent systems, the F14 Silent comes with inaudibly 0.08 Sone. An alloy/lubricant combination reduced friction, which not only lead to increased service life but most of all keeps the operating noise to a minimum.

Arctic expanded its Liquid Freezer line of closed-loop/AIO liquid CPU cooler series, with the new series-topping Liquid Freezer 360. The series made its debut in November 2015 with the Liquid Freezer 120 and Liquid Freezer 240, which as their names suggest, feature 120 mm x 120 mm, and 240 mm x 120 mm radiators, respectively. The new Liquid Freezer 360, features a large 360 mm x 120 mm radiator, with a segment-first six 120 mm fans being included in the package.

Each of the six included Arctic F12 fans take 4-pin PWM input, spin between 500-1350 RPM, push up to 74 CFM of air, and have a noise output of 0.3 sone. The new Liquid Freezer 360 is rated by Arctic to handle thermal loads of up to 300W. This makes it fit for LGA2011v3 HEDT, AM3+ 220W, and other current CPU socket types, such as LGA115x and FM2+. The copper base of the block comes with pre-applied Arctic MX-4 thermal compound. The radiator is 27 mm thick, and comes with mounts for the six included fans. Available now, the Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 is priced at 110 GBP (incl VAT).

Here's the first picture of Inno3D's flagship GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, the GTX 1080 iChill Black. Based on the reference NVIDIA PCB, the card features a liquid+air hybrid cooling solution by Arctic, the Arctic Accelero Hybrid S. It relies on a factory-fitted, closed-loop AIO block with a 120 mm x 120 mm radiator, to cool the 180W TDP GPU, while using heatsinks and a single 70 mm blower to cool the VRM and memory chips. In all likelihood, this product could be positioned above the GTX 1080 iChill X4.
