EK, the premium water cooling gear manufacturer, has decided to do something special for its American fans this Memorial Day Weekend. Apart from being the unofficial beginning of summer, the last Monday of May has a lot of meaning for many Americans. Memorial Day is the reason why EK has created a special red, white, and blue limited edition Velocity CPU water block with a genuinely noble cause.

The brand new limited version of the water block carries the name EK-Quantum Velocity Honor. It is "decorated" with the US flag and will be sold at the price of $249.99. For each water block sold, EK will donate $100 to a charitable organization. Microsoft has pulled the curtains on a limited edition Xbox One X console, which will feature a customized color scheme to go in hand with the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. Inspired by the cyberpunk aesthetic and neon lights of Night City, the new Xbox One X console sports a mainly gunmetal gray and yellow color scheme. The console also features a blue LED status light, glow-in-the dark decals, laser etchings to the chassis, and customized panels. The controller has also seen a change in coloring and decals, and is customized according to the in-game color scheme that best characterizes the iconic Johnny Silverhand, aka Keanu Reeves in-game.

NVIDIA announced the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 2080 Ti card in february with a limited run of just 200 cards, 133 of which were available to purchase at a price of $1,100 with the other 77 getting raffled off. Some of those cards are now finding their way onto eBay both new and used where they have been selling for up to $6,000, over five times the MSRP for a 2080 Ti. If you've got a burning desire to own one of these cards and a few thousand dollars spare you can pick one up at auction here where the price is currently $4,250.

EIZO today announced a limited edition monitor that's sure to attract attention: likely positive due to its feature-set, likely negative due to its small diagonal. The Foris Nova is built fully in aluminium and packs an impressive amount of features for the admittedly small diagonal: the 21" display is a 4K OLED one with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 330 nits maximum brightness and 1.07 billion colors. That small diagonal does have its benefits though: the pixel density is a very impressive (for desktop monitors) 204 pixels per inch. The 60 Hz refresh rate is nothing to glow at, but the 0.4 ms response time surely point to an amazing 60 Hz gaming experience.

Sapphire is developing a premium variant of its upcoming Radeon RX 590 series, called the RX 590 NITRO+ Special Edition, much like the "limited edition" branding it gave its premium RX 580-based card. Komachi Ensaka accessed leaked brochures of this card, which will bear an internal SKU code 11289-01. The brochure also confirms that the RX 590 features an unchanged 2,304 stream processor count from the RX 580, and continues to feature 8 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface. All that's new is improved thermals from a transition to the new 12 nm FinFET silicon fabrication process.

The Sapphire RX 590 NITRO+ SE ships with two clock-speed profiles, that can be probably toggled on the hardware by switching between two BIOS ROMs. The first profile is called NITRO+ Boost, and it runs the GPU at 1560 MHz, and the memory at 8400 MHz (GDDR5-effective). The second profile, called Silent Mode, reduces the engine clock boost to 1545 MHz, and the memory to 8000 MHz. For both profiles, the fan settings are unchanged. The fans stay off until the GPU is warming up to 54 °C, and spins at its nominal speed at 75 °C. It cuts off at 45 °C. The nominal speed is 0 - 2,280 RPM and the maximum speed is 3200 RPM.

Intel today announced the Core i7-8086K six-core processor in the LGA1151(v2) package, compatible with 300-series chipset. This processor commemorates 40 years since the company's 8086 processor, which was the spiritual ancestor of the x86 architecture that dominates modern day computing. Based on the same 14 nm "Coffee Lake" silicon as the i7-8700K, this chip features high clock speeds of 4.00 GHz nominal, with a maximum Turbo Boost frequency of 5.00 GHz. Like the i7-8700K, it features 256 KB of dedicated L2 cache per core, and 12 MB of shared L3 cache. The processor will go on sale from 8th June, the company didn't reveal pricing, but it's rumored to be a conspicuous USD 486.

DeepCool today introduced the GamerStorm New Ark 90 Electro limited edition case.
