Alphacool Announces the Rise Aurora 120mm Fan

Alphacool presents the Rise Aurora 120 mm, a powerful and PWM controllable fan that also features brilliant Digital RGB LED lighting. The Alphacool Rise Aurora fan allows for an impressive airflow of 118.9 m³/h and has high static pressure of 3.17 mm/H₂O. Due to this, the fan is ideally suited for operation on radiators or as a particularly strong case fan. Thanks to the 4-pin PWM connector, the fan can be controlled over the speed range from 0 to 2600 rpm. At 0% PWM control, the fan can be stopped completely. Sharkoon Announces REV300 ATX Case With Seven Pre-Installed PWM Fans

Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of high-performance, quality PC components and peripherals. With the REV300, Sharkoon now presents a PC case of a different kind. Besides seven pre-installed PWM RGB fans for optimal cooling, the case also comes with addressable fan LEDs for customized lighting. In addition, since the tempered glass side panel is placed on the right-hand side of the case, the REV300 offers the possibility for a better presentation of the illuminated hardware components.

With seven pre-installed, addressable PWM fans, the REV300 is equipped with maximum cooling capacity as standard: There are three 140-millimeter fans behind the front panel and three 120-millimeter models at the rear of the case, as well as one more with 120 millimeters under the top panel. These RGB fans are supported by the front panel's mesh grille which facilitates the airflow. Water cooling can also be built into the REV300: A radiator of up to 360 millimeters can be installed at the rear, and there is even space for a radiator of up to 420 millimeters at the front, provided that it does not exceed 3.2 centimeters in height. Furthermore, it should not be longer than 46.5 centimeters and no wider than 14.1 centimeters.

Noctua Launches NH-P1 Passive CPU Cooler and LS-PWM Fan for Semi-fanless Systems

Noctua today released its much anticipated NH-P1 CPU cooler as well as the optional NF-A12x25 LS-PWM 120 mm fan. Custom-designed for fanless operation from the ground up, the NH-P1 is capable of cooling modern high-end CPUs with low to moderate heat dissipation completely passively in enclosures with good natural convection. For further enhanced performance or semi-passive setups that only spin up their fans when necessary, the NH-P1 can be outfitted with a low-speed, ultra-quiet 120 mm fan such as the new NF-A12x25 LS-PWM.

"The NH-P1 is our very first passive cooler, and it should be easy to see that we didn't just take a regular heatsink and omit the fan", says Roland Mossig (Noctua CEO). "A lot of engineering work went into designing this unit for fanless operation from the ground up and we're truly proud of the end result. In our completely fanless demo system, the NH-P1 cools an Intel Core i9-11900K running Prime95 at more than 3.60 GHz - this is a lot of processing power and a whopping 125 W kept in check with zero fan noise!"

Alphacool Presents Eiswolf 2 GPU-AIO for NVIDIA Ampere and AMD RDNA 2 GPUs

Alphacool today presents the Eiswolf 2 AIO solution (Reference design with backplate) for AMD Radeon RX 6800/6800XT/6900 and NVIDIA RTX 3080/3090 graphics cards. As with all of our AIO models, we only use copper radiators, however, for the first time, the Alphacool 360 mm NexXxoS ST30 all-copper radiator will be used in one of our GPU "all-in-one" solutions. For the fans, we now install the new Alphacool Aurora Rise 120 mm fan. The fan impresses with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17 mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h, at a speed range of 0-2500rpm which can be controlled via PWM.

The decision to use the larger radiator in conjunction with our new fans provides a significant increase in cooling performance. The AIO is completed with the Eisblock Aurora water cooler, which actively cools all relevant components such as graphics memory and voltage converters in addition to the GPU chip. All components used (radiator, fan, cooler, DC-LT 2 pump) including connectors and hoses are part of the Alphacool custom cooling range and are therefore available separately. This means that we're not just offering a simple AIO solution here, but a real custom water cooling system (pre-assembled & pre-filled). Only the pump housing for the DC-LT 2 pump is a custom design and not available separately. Today we present only the Reference designs. In the near future, more solutions for graphics cards in custom design from various manufacturers will be available.

Phanteks Announces Glacier One All-in-One Liquid CPU Coolers

Phanteks today announced their very first all-in-one liquid CPU coolers, the Glacier One 240MP, 240MPH, 280MP and 360MP. Developed in collaboration with Asetek, they are capable of cooling powerful CPUs while operating silently. XPG Unveils VENTO PRO 120 PWM Fan

ENERMAX Intros the ETS-F40 Series CPU Tower Coolers

ENERMAX is introducing a new tower CPU cooler family in the form of the ETS-F40 series, which promises heat dissipation of up to 200 W TDP. The coolers feature a compact design, with a single fin stack protruding directly from the baseplate and 4x 6 mm heatpipe array. The ETS-F40 series will be available in part numbers ETS-F40-FS (Essential version, with non-RGB fan); ETS-F40-BK (same as Essential, but with a solid black finish); ETS-F40-BK-ARGB (solid black finish with an ARGB fan); and ETS-F40-W-ARGB (solid white finish with an ARGB fan). Both the ARGB versions also sport RGB lighting in the top plate. The cooler further supports installation of a second fan.

The supplied fans are 140 mm in nature, PWM-controlled affairs which can spin as low as 300 RPM (up to 1200 RPM), if noise is your utmost concern but still want a (somewhat) active cooling solution. Cooler dimensions stand at 140 x 65 x 156 mm (w/ fan) for the essential version, while the added top plate in the others will increase height to 158 mm. The ETS-F40 Essential will be available from this month of October, while the other versions with the ARGB fan will enter the channels in December. The ETS-F40 Essential is currently available in an european etailer for ~€31, which could point to a $29 pricing for the base offering.

Raijintek Intros EOS 12 RBW ADD Fans

Raijintek today introduced the EOS 12 RBW ADD line of 120 mm case fans. Based on the design of the original EOS 12 fans, the new EOS 12 RBW ADD comes in single-unit and three-unit packs. It is optimized both for ventilation and for use in liquid cooling setups owing to its fairly good static pressure. Featuring a hydraulic bearing rated for 40,000 hours, the fan takes in 4-pin PWM for its main function, and spins between 800 to 1,800 RPM, with a maximum air-flow of 75 CFM, maximum static pressure of 2.3 mm H₂O, and a maximum noise output rated at 28 dBA. It uses a 3-pin addressable RGB connection for its illumination. The three-unit pack includes a ARGB+PWM controller with an RF remote control. The frames of these fans feature rubberized mounts that dampen vibration. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ASUS Rolls Out VA27DQSB Eye Care Monitor with Thin Bezels on 3 Sides

ASUS today rolled out the VA27DQSB Eye Care Monitor, designed for multi-display setups in office environments, as you can stack these display along the sides and above, in a 1x3 or 2x3 configuration. The VA27DQSB is a 27-inch monitor with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, an IPS panel with 178°/178° viewing angles, 75 Hz refresh rate, VESA Adaptive Sync support, and TUV Rhienland-certified low blue-light and flicker-free brightness adjustments (uses a non-PWM method of dimming the LEDs). The included stand offers height adjustments by 150 mm, 90° rotation, tilt up to 35°, and sideways pivot, besides being detachable for use with VESA-compatible multi-monitor mounts. The company didn't reveal pricing.

DeepCool Intros Gamer Storm TF-120S and TF-140S Fans for Radiators

DeepCool today introduced the Gamer Storm TF-120S and TF-140S fan sets optimized for liquid-cooling applications owing to high static pressure, and a frame-design that's better suited for mounting along radiators. These fans are an evolution of the TF-series fans DeepCool debuted in 2015. The TF-120S is a 120 mm fan that comes in pack of four fans; while the TF-140S is a 140 mm fan, shipping in packs of three. Both SKUs include 4-port PWM fan hubs so a single PWM signal can power all fans in the set.

Much like the original TF-series from 2015, the TF-120S and TF-140S feature "double layer fan blade" design, which when combined with the "wasp waist" fan frame design work to increase air-flow and static pressure. The TF-120S spins between 500 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 64.4 CFM of air, with a pressure of 2.33 mm H₂O, and up to 32.1 dBA noise output at max speed; while the TF-140S does 400 to 1,600 RPM, pushing 97.03 CFM of air-flow, with 2.00 mm H₂O pressure, and up to 39.8 dBA noise output at max speed. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cooler Master Intros MasterFan ARGB + PWM Hub: Control Both Speed and Lighting

Cooler Master earlier this week rolled out the MasterFan ARGB + PWM Hub (model: MFX-ZHHN-1NNN6-R1), a handy accessory to simplify both fan speed and lighting management. The device, which is slim enough to be tucked away in the crawlspace behind the motherboard tray, puts out six each of 4-pin PWM and 3-pin addressable-RGB connections. It draws power from a SATA power connector, and takes input from one each of 4-pin PWM and 3-pin ARGB connections from your motherboard. Among the six downstream PWM headers is a high-powered header marked in red, meant for multi-fan units. The hub comes in a metal body with a transparent plastic top, it measures 103 mm x 65 mm x 16 mm (WxDxH). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cooler Master Intros MasterFan MF120 Halo in White

Cooler Master added a new White color variant to its MasterFan MF120 Halo series, which debuted in January. It sees white take up almost the entire fan frame, including the rubberized bits, a decal over the impeller hub, and the impeller itself has a brighter tint. As with the original, the MF120 Halo White is characterized by two independent lighting zones, one made up of diodes in the impeller hub, and the other along the mouth of the frame, on both ends. There are no mechanical changes from the original. The fan takes in a single 3-pin ARGB connection for both lighting zones, and 4-pin PWM header for its main function. It spins between 650 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 47.2 CFM of air, at 1.6 mm H₂O pressure, and noise output up to 30 dBA. Its bearing has a rated lifespan of 160,000 hours. It is expected to be priced around $18 a piece.

Thermalright Intros TY-121BP FDB Low Impedance Fans

Thermalright introduced the TY-121BP FDB, a 120 mm case fan optimized for circulation applications. Built in a standard 25 mm-thick 120 mm format with rubberized frame mounts. The package includes rubber bolts in addition to metal screws. The fan features a long life (>40,000-hours rated) fluid-dynamic bearing. Taking in 4-pin (PWM) input, it spins between 600 - 1,800 RPM pushing 25.76 CFM of air at its lowest speed, and 77.28 CFM at top speed, with up to 2.70 mm H2O air-pressure. The noise output proportionately ranges between 19 to 25 dBA. The fan is currently selling in single-piece packages priced at $20, multi-fan packs are also in the works.
