EK Releases Classic Lineup Water Cooling Kits

EK-KIT Classic products are value-oriented, RGB liquid cooling kits with low noise emissions that offer efficient cooling of any mainstream Intel or AMD CPU on the market. Ready to be expanded with a GPU water block, some of the new kit models also open up the door for overclocking. Designed with case compatibility in mind, these kits are a great way to enter the world of custom liquid cooling with easy installation.

They contain everything you need to assemble your first custom liquid cooling loop. You don't have to worry about compatibility issues, missing something, being nervous about the right amount of fittings or tube length. The newly released Classic kits are available in four different setups - S240, S360, P240, P360. They vary by radiator size and thickness, as well as number of fans. The rest of the components are shared across all of the kits.

ID-Cooling Rolls Out the IS-50X Low-profile CPU Cooler Capable of Handling 130W TDP

ID-Cooling rolled out the IS-50X, a low-profile CPU cooler capable of handling thermal loads of up to 130 Watts, with a height of just 75 mm. The cooler features a "C-type" heatsink design. Five 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, and guide heat through an aluminium fin-stack that's arranged along the plane of the motherboard. The fins are slightly broader towards the portion of the stack that's directly above the CPU socket, and thinner along the periphery, to offer clearance to your motherboard's memory and CPU VRM areas.

A 15 mm-thick 120 mm PWM fan ventilates the fin-stack. This fan spins between 600 to 1,600 RPM, pushing up to 53.6 CFM of air, at a noise output ranging between 13.8 to 30.2 dBA. Measuring 122 mm x 120 mm x 75 mm (with the fan installed), the cooler weighs 385 g. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA115x, AM4, AM3(+), and FM2(+). The company didn't reveal pricing.

SilentiumPC Presents New 120 and 140 mm Case Fans With RGB and ARGB Lighting

The European PC case and cooling manufacturer SilentiumPC, adds the new Stella HP fan series both as an RGB-enabled and ARGB-enabled product line to its portfolio. The new lines are based on the same PWM-enabled fan, which feature the HBS (Hydraulic) bearing, excellent efficiency, high static pressure and built-in anti-vibration rubber grommets. The Stella HP RGB as well as the Stella HP ARGB series are available in the mainstream fan sizes 120 mm and 140 mm.

Thermalright Enters the AIO CLC Market with the Turbo Right Series

Unlike other closed-loop coolers (CLCs), the Turbo Right ships with a full-copper radiator, in which both the fins and coolant channels are made of copper. The base is made of mirror-finished nickel-plated copper. These coolers come with a fill-port and an extra 100 ml of coolant, so you can replenish it over time. The pump-block features an ornament on top with RGB LED lighting.

For now, the Turbo Right comes in two variants based on radiator size, the Turbo Right 240C, and the Turbo Right 360C, featuring 240 mm x 120 mm and 360 mm x 120 mm radiators, respectively. Depending on the variant, you get two or three TY-121BP 120 mm fans, which take in 4-pin PWM input, spin between 600 to 1,800 RPM, and push between 25.76 to 77.28 CFM of air, with a noise output of 19 to 25 dBA, each. Among the CPU sockets supported are LGA2066, LGA115x, and AM4.

Thermaltake Intros UX200 ARGB Lighting CPU Cooler

Thermaltake is on a drive to rehash many of its older CPU cooler designs with touches of modernity, such as addressable-RGB LED lighting and newer fans with improved bearings. The latest such effort is the UX200 ARGB Lighting. The cooler is based on a tower-type heatsink in which the fins get narrower towards the bottom of the fin-stack, to improve clearance with your motherboard's VRM and M.2 slots. The aluminium fins and copper heat-pipes are anodized black. The four 6 mm-thick copper heat-pipes make direct contact with the CPU at the base, conveying heat through the fin-stack. The aluminium base has some finnage of its own.

The cooler is ventilated by a 120 mm fan that has 15 addressable-RGB LEDs studded into the bore of the frame, with a silicone diffuser spreading their light. The lighting takes in standard 3-pin ARGB input. The fan itself takes in 4-pin PWM input, features a hydraulic bearing that's rated for 30,000 hours, and spins between 300 to 1,500 RPM, pushing up to 43.34 CFM of air, with a noise output of up to 26.33 dBA. The cooler is designed to handle thermal loads of up to 130W, although it only supports mainstream-desktop CPU socket types, which include LGA115x and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Cooler Master Introduces New Square Fan Series

Cooler Master, a global leader in PC component manufacturing, today, announces the launch of their new Square Fan (SF) series of PC fans. Introduced as part of the MasterFan family, the new SF series of fans are equipped not only with RGB lighting, but features designed to enhance user experience in installation and performance.

Three new fans are included in the new SF series, the MasterFan SF120R RGB, SF120R ARGB and the SF360R ARGB. All three fans feature Cooler Master's new square fan design, while the SF360R ARGB fan incorporates multiple fans in an All-In-One frame. The entire SF series features rubber pads around each point of connection to decreases vibration and reduce noise pollution. In addition, the SF series of fans are designed to be compatible with all current AIO liquid coolers and most computer cases.

ENERMAX Introduces New Addressable RGB Fan, SquA RGB

ENERMAX, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance PC hardware products, announces the launch of an addressable RGB computer fan series, SquA RGB. ID-Cooling Reveals IS-30 Low-Profile Air Cooler for up to 100 W CPUs

ID-cooling today revealed another entry into their air-cooling line-up, specifically geared for space.-constrained environments that still require adequate cooling capabilities for low operating noise. The IS-30 is a low-profile cooler (30 mm along the Z plane, unsurprisingly) that supports up to 100 W CPU cooling - this means that even 8-core AMD Ryzen 2000 series can be cooled by this baby.

The direct contact, four copper heatpipe design ensures that heat is carried from the processor the array of aluminum fins, and then expelled by usage of a 92-mm PWM fan that spins at 800 ~ 3600 RPM and up to 40 CFM in terms of airflow. The maximum noise levels of 35.8 dB(A) should seem like an acceptable trade-off. It weighs 310 grams, which shouldn't put too big a strain on your system - if it's to remain vertical at all, as these solutions seldom are. No word on pricing at time of writing.

Arctic Announces New Freezer 34 Generation of CPU Coolers

ARCTIC today introduced the new Freezer 34 air cooler series. Development of the new Freezer series focused on increasing cooling capacity. With static pressure optimized P-fans and the improved heatsink, the Freezer 34 series offers high quality products with high-powered performance. The series consists of the standard Freezer 34 model; the Freezer 34 CO, a new tower CPU cooler; the Freezer 34 eSports; and the Freezer 34 eSports DUO.

The Freezer 34 coolers come with all the perks of ARCTIC's high static pressure P-fans: an extended shelf life, a wide RPM range, lower power consumption, high quality bearings and less vibration. Plus, when the PWM signal falls below 5%, the passive 0 dB mode is activated. With newly developed fans, a streamlined cooling fin design, and offset direct-touch heatpipes that distribute heat more efficiently, the Freezer 34 delivers robust cooling for high-end processors with up to 18 cores. During internal testing, at a normalized 28db(A) noise level, the Freezer 34 models achieved results up to 4° C cooler than their predecessor series.

Bitspower at CES 2019- New Blocks, Sensor Displays, Fans, and LN2 Cooling!

CES may have officially ended but our coverage from the trade show continues. Bitspower had invited TechPowerUp to come visit their suite, mentioning there would be something new and unexpected, and that indeed was the case. Our tour began with the customary showcase of the new GPU water blocks compatible with reference, and board partner designs, for the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 and relatively new AIC RTX 2070/80(Ti) cards as well. These feature integrated RGB lighting compatible with all major motherboard lighting solutions for control, and adopt the split central-inlet flow design as well.

Raijintek Intros Juno Pro RBW Low-profile Air CPU Cooler

Raijintek today introduced the Juno Pro RBW, a low-profile air CPU cooler and successor to the Juno-X RGB from late-2017. While the Juno-X RGB only featured a multi-color fan strapped onto the original Juno-X heatsink, the new Juno Pro RBW features a more substantial redesign, with a metal shroud crowing the upper portion of the heatsink, and a silicone RGB LED diffuser ring framing the shroud. The lighting system conforms to the newer addressable-RGB standard, so you can control it using various motherboard branded lighting control software.

Under the hood, the heatsink is unchanged from the Juno-X: a radially-projecting aluminium fin-stack that's bunched up at the center, making up the base that makes contact with the CPU, which is ventilated by a 120 mm PWM fan that spins between 400 to 1,800 RPM, pushing up to 38.5 CFM of air, with a noise output of 28 dBA. Measuring 122.5 mm x 122.5 mm x 65 mm (WxDxH), it weighs 315 g. The cooler is capable of handling thermal loads of up to 105W TDP. Among the CPU sockets supported are LGA115x and AM4. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Antec Launches PRIZM ARGB Case Fans

Antec Inc., a leading provider of high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself market, presents their new ARGB case fans, the PRIZM ARGB series. Taking style, performance and silence to the next level, Prizm ARGB is available in 120/140 mm, and is surrounded by a ring of addressable RGB LEDs and high-performance fan blades including the addressable RGB LED controller.

SilverStone Intros FW124-ARGB Slimline 120mm Fan

Continuing on its streak of releasing slimline 120 mm fans, SilverStone rolled out the FW124-ARGB. This 120 mm spinner is 15 mm thick instead of the usual 25 mm, leaving you with more room in SFF cases. The fan features the same 9-blade impeller design with blade-integrated guide-vanes as the FN124 from last week; but backs it with a more premium fluid-dynamic bearing instead of sleeved. The impeller is made of frosted, translucent polycarbonate instead of opaque black, because it has to diffuse the six addressable RGB LEDs studded in the impeller hub. These LEDs take in standardized 3-pin addressable RGB input. The motor is more advanced, and takes in 4-pin PWM input instead of 3-pin DC. The fan spins between 800 to 2,000 RPM, while pushing 13.1 to 32.6 CFM of air-flow, with a proportionate noise output ranging between 14.7 to 24.6 dBA. The fan is rated for 50,000 hours of life. The company didn't reveal pricing.

ARCTIC releases P-Fan Series High-static Pressure With Six Fan Models

ARCTIC today expanded its range of case fans with the new P Series. The high-static pressure fan line consists of six models, each available in 120mm and 140mm versions. The P-Fans are engineered to maximize the cooling potential of radiators. Their newly designed fan blades enable a focused airflow, which makes them an ideal choice on heatsinks and radiators with higher air resistance.

In addition to the new impeller design, the PWM Models of the P Series (including the BioniX) also feature a new, highly efficient motor technology. Thanks to the Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the latest generation, the fans run smoothly and with notably less operating noise and vibration from commutation without compromising performance and service life.
