Thermaltake Launches Pacific CL Series Copper Radiators

Thermaltake, a leading brand in PC cooling solutions, today released the latest copper radiator lineup - Pacific CL360, Pacific CL420 and Pacific CL480. Available in 360mm, 420mm and 480mm, the Pacific CL Series utilizes an extremely thick radiator with a high-density copper fin design and brass tank to assure the best cooling capacity. The radiators are lighter and more durable than most copper radiators on the market thanks to the stainless steel made side panels that guarantee durability as well as reduce the weight. The integrated G1/4" threads are optimized for easy installation while rigid connections ensure leak-resistant measures are in place. With an ideal mounting, fitting and flow set-up, the radiators meet your cooling needs in every way!

EK Launches Giganormous 420mm and 560mm CoolStream Slim Radiators

Following the recent release of EK-CoolStream SE 140 and EK-CoolStream SE 280 slim radiators, EK Water Blocks the market leader in high-end liquid cooling for PC products is releasing two new slim radiators. EK-CoolStream SE 420 and EK-CoolStream SE 560 will complete the slim radiator lineup in the 140mm fan format where high-performance and high-compatibility thin radiators are needed. With case manufacturers putting more and more emphasis on the 140mm fan form factor, these new CoolStream SE radiators will surely set an example in their category.

While most radiators on the market overhang on the side, and are actually bigger than the fans they use, these two new radiators are champions of compatibility in their class. Measuring exactly 140mm in width (the same as the classic 140mm fan) and being only 28mm thick, they will surely fit where some other radiators can't.

Thermaltake Intros Pacific RL360 Plus RGB Radiator

Thermaltake introduced the Pacific RL360 Plus RGB radiator, a radiator with - you guessed it - RGB LED lighting, as if fans with RGB LEDs weren't enough. This 360 mm x 120 mm radiator comes with RGB LED strips that mount along the length of the radiator, which are embedded with 24 LEDs, each. The LEDs are fronted by a diffuser, and can make up to 16.8 million colors. The included Thermaltake Riing RGB software lets you control color, brightness, and lighting patterns. As a radiator, the Pacific RL360 Plus features 14 fins-per-inch density, with fins made of a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, standard G 1/4 threading, and included stoppers. The included digital lighting controller module lets you plug the radiator, and other Thermaltake Riing-standard hardware to your motherboard over standard USB 2.0 headers. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Silverstone Announces the RL06 ATX Case

In yet another addition to their already populated line of computer cases, Silverstone has announced the release of the budget-oriented (by Silverstone's standards) RL06 ATX case. It is built primarily from steel and plastic, and sheds the more premium tempered glass alternative for a more cost-effective transparent plastic side window.

The RL06 will be available in two different color schemes: the usual, gamer-style black with red trim or a more subdued white with silver trim. The base model ships with a single 120mm fan on the rear of the case, but Silverstone also announced a Pro version which comes with three additional 120mm LED fans mounted on the front of the case.

EK Announces Fans Specially Designed for Radiators: EK Vardar Series

EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to announce company's first fully in-house engineered computer cooling fan, designed and built primarily for highest-performance computer liquid cooling systems - the EK-Vardar. This product is the result of one year worth of development, CFD analysis, careful motor selection and anechoic chamber testing.

Dubbed Vardar, this family of cooling fans carry the name of a type of the cold northwesterly wind blowing from the mountains down to the valleys of Macedonia. It is a type of ravine wind, enhanced by a channelling effect while blowing down through the Moravia-Vardar gap, bringing cold conditions from the north to the Thessaloniki area of Greece. Most frequent during winter, it is blowing in the rear of a depression when atmospheric pressure over eastern Europe is higher than over the Aegean Sea.

Swiftech Announces the MCR140-X Drive Radiator, Pump, and Reservoir Integration

The next case of juggling with the way parts are arranged in a liquid cooling loop, comes from Swiftech, with its MCR140-X Drive. This contraption fuses a 25 mm thick 140 x 140 mm radiator with a reservoir and a pump, so you could plumb it to a conventional CPU or VGA block. Its pump unit draws power from a SATA power connector, and can spin between 1,200 and 3,000 RPM. It features a ceramic shaft, and PTFE bearings, which lend it an MTBF of 60,000 hours. The unit features conventional G1/4 fittings, and an additional fill port. An acrylic window lets you keep tabs on the coolant level. Selling now, the MCR140-X Drive is priced at US $89.99.

Aqua Computer Also Announces Airplex Radical 2 Series Radiators

The airplex radical is Aqua Computers newest addition to its radiator line. The new radiator series which is manufactured in Germany is based on the airplex modularity system but this time reduced to the essentials to combine a great performance and workmanship with an attractive price. Like its big brother the airplex radical series is produced without any soldered joints which means the radiator comes without any residues of tin. Only Delrin, stainless steel and copper make contact to the cooling fluid - also when using variants with aluminum fins.

To allow a perfect installation Aqua Computer introduces a new protected mounting system which is based on threaded sleeves made of nickel plated brass. The threaded sleeves are pluggable and extend into the mounting holes of the fans so that they almost slip into the correct position by themselves. Anyone who has mounted a radiator before knows the struggle to align the radiator with the fans and screws. This system also extends the threads which reduces the risk of damaging the radiator with too long screws.

Enermax Extends "Ahead of the Game" Series

One month ago, Enermax informed about the introduction of a new product line which is specially designed for the requirements of modern gaming machines. "Ahead of the Game" covers different PC areas. "The models of our new series allow for a game play on the highest level. They are the perfect choice for high-end systems and provide leading technology for the pure joy of gaming", explains Benjamin Schäfer, PR/Marketing Team Leader of Enermax Europe. With the midi tower iVektor, the first gaming series from Enermax made a perfect market debut. The racing-style chassis with the soft-grip coating offers a variety of functions and many possibilities for system upgrades. But for a steady flow of game at highest resolution, the hardware inside is the crucial factor.

Schäfer: "We offer users the perfect starter set to build up a performance-capable and at the same time durable gaming system. Most often, people focus on the graphics card or CPU only. But at the end, the power supply decides how stable a PC runs. If your system is crashing down regularly, the PSU might be a possible source of trouble. Therefore, it is worthwhile to spend more money in a quality brand product instead of buying the cheapest of the cheap models. And if you consider about an efficient cooling system, you need to know that you can not only prolong the lifetime of the installed components, but you can also draw the ultimate performance out of your hardware. You will only achieve the highest clock rates if you rely on the best cooling solution."
