Packaging

The Terra ships in a simple brown package with the name and company logo on it. There isn't much more besides a sticker to let you know which of the three colors is within.

An interesting packaging choice are the cardboard spacers instead of foam or Styrofoam. This is the same material utilized for AIO packaging and is a far more eco-conscious choice. In addition to that, Fractal tries to minimize plastic packaging by opting for a cloth bag to further protect the chassis instead of a clear plastic one.

Contents

You get a few Velcro strips, assortment of screws, zip ties and a microfibre cloth. On top of that, there is a 2.5" HDD plate as well as the usual manual with its bright blue cover. Again, Fractal opted to eliminate plastic by utilizing an envelope instead. The only plastic packaging components are the little clear bags for the screws. I could see Fractal at least going for a little reusable container to give it some use even if sticking to plastic.
