Performance Improvements

In this test, we've completed two runs of our benchmark suite using Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta and AMD's new Radeon Software Crimson Edition driver. The bar charts show the relative performance difference in comparison to Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta, so positive percentages are performance gains while negative values are performance losses.

Each game is tested at four resolutions. These are, from left to right, 1600x900 (blue), 1920x1080 (red), 2560x1440 (green), and 3840x2160 (purple).



Overall, we see decent improvements in many games that are resolution independent, so not only 4K users will see benefits. Some games are showing small performance drops, but at 1% at worst, those are rather insignificant.
