NVIDIA BIOS Editor (NiBiTor) Version 5.3 Released

NVIDIA BIOS Editor (aka NiBiTor) got its update for this month. The popular BIOS manipulation utility has been updated to version 5.3. As with every new release, version 5.3 brings along an expanded supported products list, a number of critical and trivial bug fixes, and an improved ability to work with unsupported hardware in a limited way. Newly supported products include:
  • GeForce GTX 295 (Single PCB)
  • GeForce GTX 260M
  • Quadro FX 3700M

The support for sigle 295 comes a little late...

BTW, it still doesn't work on vista/7? someone tried?

The last version worked in 7 I dont see why this one wouldnt. Used it to flash a couple of 280's without a hitch.

Just so you all know NiBiTor as program works just fine on Vista and Windows 7, only the backup of the BIOS doesn't work for the 64-bit versions (and sometimes also the 32-bit) only because we didn't implement the Microsoft certificates to for the driver signing since it is simply too expensive such a certificate and we don't have the money. Though that is just a minor piece of the program and you can always backup the BIOS using nvFlash or GPU-Z. And the one who said they are a bit late for the GeForce GTX 295 single PCB version, well sorry but this version was exclusively available since a week before this card was released, and also who made a minor donation could just that the v5.3 at that point (sorry but development isn't easy and no longer doable with some drive to keep going, meaning some donations).
