Wow. I mean, somehow on one side I am an ELITE member, so cool beans and all that, but this still feels corrupt as hell, gotta be frank.

For clarity, they basically give ELITE status to anyone who buys two of their products in one year. I guess pretty much anyone can spend on some in stock crap and get on, but still...

I have bought several EVGA cards over the years and one PSU but never registered any of them so I don't qualify.

LOL but most of them don't keep the card. They buy to sell.

Is this the physical manifestation of Jensen's "the more you buy" ?

So since this isnt based on just being a previous owner but based on buying multiple products within each year..

This is EVGA's scalper and miner Access program, but hey they are open and proud about it!

Yeah, no...

1. Only one card per customer/address/payment method
2. Scalpers can't register the card to become an elite member, as it will revoke the customers' registration effort when they want to register their product on the EVGA website.
3. Miners will be limited to 1x card per/drop, just like all the rest, making it much fairer, as miners usually buy up the whole inventory of stock.
4. It's a way better chance to get a card near MSRP due to the queue system, even if you aren't fast enough with the early access, you will get your turn in due time. If the shortage should ease up overnight, these requests in the queue will just get serviced faster.

I am just glad that I did register my GTX1070 back in the day, it got me my elite membership, it's a great way of rewarding loyal customers (I am still pissed with EVGA but I suspect I was screwed locally) and I will definitely try and procure my RTX3070Ti this way, I am already in the queue for the RTX3060Ti / 3070, but should I choose not to buy them, they will be allocated to someone else in the queue, so no harm done.

I had two 1080Ti and one 1000W PSU registered there , so im glad it got me elite membership aswell since im aiming for the 3080Ti but that being said im still pissed with EVGA considering how tiny their allocation for the EU market is ! Not expecting much from this Elite membership program but we will see what gives .

You can also become Elite if you have registered certain hardware or if you post 100 times on their forums or through involvement with Twitch.

Literally just joined this weekend just for the hell of it with a power supply I bought a couple of years ago, I might actually try for the 3080 Ti, though the list will still be long.

Thanks for the tip about posting at least 100 times. I missed that one. I don't plan to buy an Ampere but I do plan to buy a 4080 when they come out. I think I could easily post 100 times before that because I enjoy discussing GPUs. Every EVGA GPU that I have ever owned has been quality and my current EVGA Supernova PSU is definitely quality too. It was highly rated on jonnyguru and got a 9.9 out of 10 score.

I got elite status for buying one of their platinum rated PSUs as well lol... their customer service hasn't let me down yet.

I am an Elite member also, but so what?

Never going to get any benefit from it.

Also, they started the 100 post thing a while back, SPAMMERS crawling out of the woodwork, posting meaningless B.S. just to get their count up.

eVGA has really gone from a great company to just a mediocre one, and I say that as a one-time eVGA fanboy.

Hi,
Yeah if you want to pay more buy directly from evga otherwise you'd find lower prices elsewhere for evga products.
EVGA ebay store has better prices eventually than their main site lol

You can register them late. If it is still within the warranty period it will register. And then there is always a record of the serial number and purchase date, etc, which can be handy.
