Iquinix Shows us a Constellation of Compact Wireless Mechanical Keyboards
Iquinix, at the 2025 International CES showed off a comprehensive lineup of compact wireless mechanical keyboards. These mostly come in compact layouts (65% or less), are backed by high-grade mechanical key-switches, and artisanal keycaps. A common feature with all keyboards is their high apparent build quality, and metal alloy bodies. The OG80 Wormhole is a 55% keyboard with a typewriter-like curvature along which the keys are arranged. Most of these have late-1980s era gray+ivory color schemes, with some mint-green action keys. Notice the fingerprint reader for Windows Hello logins.The EZ 75, EZ 63, and EZ 60 come with magnetic key switches, a two-tone metal top-plate, and black+gray+blue keycaps. The EZ 60 has a 60% layout, and the EZ 75 a 75% layout. There's also the EZ 63 with a 2-tone Sakura pink trim. The MG65 Pro is a slim 65% keyboard with a couple of unique features, including a programmable roller. The MG65 (non-Pro) lacks this roller. The ZX75 is a 75% keyboard with a semi-transparent design, a programmable multimedia knob, and a variety of design schemes after Le Petit Prince.The DK65 is a 65% keyboard with a programmable fader and a rotary knob. The R80 features a mostly transparent design, and resembles early 2000s Apple iMac. The M80 is a 65% keyboard based around the "purry cat" design scheme. Its keys come with RGB backlighting, metal top, and are hot swappable. The F97 comes with an 85% layout, it's not quite TKL. There are many design schemes after the Little Prince franchise. The Q66 is a neo-retro keyboard with a 60% layout, and a typewriter-like key staging.
