People with lots of money to burn will buy this, no doubt because it is the awesomest thing in the world to have the smallest and coolest looking thing in the world.
I'm sure it is very high quality (it better be), but I'm fine with my nonamer FrankenPC.
Yeah it's expensive but you're paying for innovation not a name. However, these pre-built Shuttles to me, defeat the point of building one. That's where the fun is for me. However, their target audience are people that are looking for a high-performance machine without the large foot print. For that they have to pay a premium price - then again, the chassis, the motherboard and PSU are included in that. So, depending where you buy it from, it is relatively good valve for money, well the barebone(s) anyway.
