Zalman shows off new graphic card cooler

Zalman showed off the new graphic card cooler, called the VF-900 at the CES in Las Vegas. The cooler has a much higher number of fins, and should be compatible with most Crossfire and SLI mainboards. The fan should be about 8 cm large, turning at 1350-2650 rpm. The cooler has a size of 96 x 96 x 30 mm, weighs 187 grams and actually uses heatpipes.

Well the VF700 is also 30 mm thick, that's why I asked. And so is the 2 year old ZM80-D on that side of the card. So I have no idea what they're talking about.

sorry bout that, that was more an observational note in the news on my part. It seems that the cooler is just as high as the previous ones. Fixed the news post. Sorry about that guys, but I usually post news late at night (its 2:30 am right now) *G* :D

cheers

How about when they come out? I'm sick of the stock cooler on my XT.
