The AMD E2-2000 is a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in January 2013. It is part of the E2 lineup, using the Zacate 2 architecture with Socket FT1. E2-2000 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1750 MHz. AMD is building the E2-2000 on a 40 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on E2-2000, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 18 W, the E2-2000 consumes very little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 7340 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the E2-2000, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
