The Intel Celeron N2830 is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in February 2014. It is part of the Celeron lineup, using the Bay Trail architecture with BGA 1170. Celeron N2830 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 2.16 GHz by default, but can boost up to 2.41 GHz, depending on the workload. Intel is making the Celeron N2830 on a 22 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Celeron N2830, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 7 W, the Celeron N2830 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the HD Graphics integrated graphics solution.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
