Lian Li Industrial Co. Ltd has launched the PC-V351 desktop HTPC Chassis. The all aluminum design features dual front mounted 120mm@1000RPM fans, with an additional rear mounted 80mm extraction fan@1200RPM. The front fans have special anti-vibration grommets to prevent noise. The sleek brushed aluminum chassis comes in three colors, namely black, silver and red according to your needs. The dimensions stand at 279mm x 262mm x 373mm (W,H,D). The chassis is imbued with all the functional and user friendly design aspects users have come to expect in a Lian Li case.

HTPC Chassis Convenience
Lian Li engineers have optimized the airflow while maintaining relative silence throughout. The removable motherboard tray allows for easy setup of the system, while the elegant minimalist design gives the aura of class and sophistication. The hand crafted design such as folded aspects to reduce the risk of sharp edges as well as anti-vibration kits for the HDD mountings coupled with superior aluminum stand mountings, makes the PC-V351 a superior product in every respect.

Unconventional Special Features
The chassis supports 2x 5.25" Optical drive bays (ODD) with one optional 1x 3.5" external (using the 5.25") and 2 additional internal 3.5"bays in an anti-vibration cage for HDD's. Each HDD is mounted with anti-vibration grommets to reduce noise from HDD vibrations. The ODD cage is accessible from the left side panel or right side panel, according to your setup. This arrangement leaves the face of the PC-V351 clear and nicely presentable. The side mounted ODD convenience is especially useful in areas where space needs to be optimized. The chassis is for Micro-ATX motherboards and has 4 PCI expansion slots, which are well ventilated with special vented brackets. The side panel has multimedia I/O ports which consisting of 2x USB2.0, 1x IEEE1394, as well as HD+AC97 Audio.

Traditional Durability
The classical stylish functional design is the Lian Li goal. The essence of Lian Li products is the craftsmanship of the engineering. Intrinsic to the workmanship and quality is the customization which includes a whole host of optional extras that can be purchased to add more features to an already feature rich product.

For more details on features and extras available for the PC-V351 please go to the Lian Li website.

If you did that... it would be one hell of an exercise each time you wanted to change the boards in your expansion slots.

Um, we've seen this before, it was called a Monarch Hornet. Lian-Li built the chassis for Monarch Hornets. Looks like they made some changes but yeah, its a stolen reworked design:

http://www.hardcoreware.net/reviews/review-179-2.htm

They are similar, but not the same. Since Lian Li made the Hornet, they can't really steal their own design.

*Edit. Really, they aren't even close. Thanks for plugging another review in our news section.

True..... but couldn't they design it so the power supply mounts to some kind of frame that swings out? Then this would allow for compatibility with the large tower coolers these days like the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme.

Antec Minuete is still my favorite case for building small pc's.

Though you might have some trouble finding half-height cards for it...
