Help in Choosing a Drive.

I currently have 2 Raptor X in raid 0, to me they are noisy and annoying.

I want to replace these 2 drives with a single drive equal or better performance for OS and Games only.

I dont require alot of space just performance, what would you do in my case ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

150GB 10k rpm Western digital Raptor X,

i checked on newegg and apparently they dont sell anymore.

SSD is the next step up.

Raptor X are the 150GB versions I believe with the clear tops.

Grab a couple OCZ Vertex SSD's for a raid0 and enjoy the speed, Fits had a couple in raid and was attaining around...what around 400MB/s or something with .2 seek. They have 64mb cache a new onboard controller and are really good drives, granted you won't have all the space in the world, so you gotta weigh that out too. But if you're after speed that's the direction I'd point ya, sure they're probably not as "sweet" as the intel ones, but they are some of the better affordable SSD's out there...if you want to call those prices affordable yet...I guess it depends on your wants and needs though.
