They are basically trying what they tried a few years back with names. The Phenom name is for high performance and Athlon is for mid, and Turion is for low.
Back in the day it was Athlon, Sempron, and Duron.
Remember, this is just the beginning for them. 2 down and 8 more chips to go in the next month to fill out the new line of Processors for them. I imagine the Kuma will drop in price and many of the Dual Core 4000 and 5000 series will be discontinued in a few days.
