I bet they can charge $75 for this and still sell very well.

it should well be compatible with USB hubs as well, so performance is your limit really - for home users, it would be very damned convenient depending on HOW you access the files (EG, needs custom software, NTFS read only, the usual crap for cheap NAS devices)
