It would serve as a tool to measure OpenGL performance on HD5000 series cards and other cards. Very nice benchmark utility.

HD5850 doesn't seem to work right in OpenGL mode.

OC'd back to 3.8Ghz and the cards are still stock 850/1200, but now in CFX. At least it scales well with CFX enabled... microstutter central though... :/

And for the love of christ I see one person type I get better fps with my 4000series card please look at the damn settings listed above...

And teslation was on, the benchmark looks absolutley breathtaking. Performance hit is definitley there.

I did the platform update.

Here's DX11 default filtering 1920x1200 on a single HD 5870 @ 1k GPU.

Hardware tesselation is not used despite being shown enabled, the stones are still just flat and non tesselated.

indeed, tessellation is a beasty, but worth it imo, and no-one with an old gen card cannot compare their card to a dx11 run, so they will always get 'higher' even though some people aren't running with AA lol. But this isn't a comparison (it can't happen) it's a test of how well the hd58xx can run dx11 really, and the answer is: goooood.

HD5850 doesn't seem to work right in OpenGL mode.

that's because you can't use tessellation. dx11 cards only.

Yep stones are not flat on my HD 5870 with DX11 selected. Roads and walls are awesome. I can throw up some screens later.

I was able to run it after I did the platform update detailed earlier in the thread. Dxdiag now shows DX11 for me. Just run the cmd line followed by windows update, and viola! You're gtg with any 5800.
