MW2 New Pingbar Setup

Ok guys so the bar pings are crap they don't really give you any indication of how much ping you're actually getting.

I've created a quick mod to even out the bars and how much ping they represent.

Heres a guide on how much ping my bars display.

6.Bars 0-50ms
5.Bars 50-100ms
4.Bars 100-150ms
3.Bars 150-200ms
2.Bars 200-250ms
1.Bar 250-300ms

So heres a file to copy over the the original config_mp file located "program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players"

is this safe? I would hate to modify the files, which are against the EULA. Legally, your license can be banned for this just as if you were hacking, and all it takes is a simple file check.

That being said, this is a great addition, but I will wait until it has been tested for atleast a month.

I think they were 0-100, 100-200, 200-300, 300+(unplayable)

Yeah allot of people don't like editing things so they can use my config and blame me if something goes wrong

yes, MW2 is horrible, the rumors are true. The lag is reminiscent of a 12,2 baud dial-up modem, and you might contract an STD. Playing for more than a year could leave you impotent, and potentially terminally ill.
