I thought it was coming out in november, but it's today!!!!!!! i'm so amped!!
i just started playing through fear to get into the mood, but i so won't finish before pick up this little gem! i can't wait! FEAR is such a sweet game, sooo much fun!

idk why i thought that, who knows, but whatever! anyone else going to try to get it this week?

Is F.E.A.R. that great? I chose Call of Duty 2 over it...but do you need F.E.A.R. (1) to understand Extraction Point?

i've never really played bf2, but i've always wanted to, and I think i will someday (prolly 2142 tho cuz that's newer)

have you played FEAR before? it really hooked me, i'm definitely one of those people who doesn't leave any stone unturned, so i really enjoyed try to figure out the mysteries along the way, and got the sh!t scared out of me a thousand times. i'm just really excited for more of the same really, even if that is lame

and it's technically out where i am, but not for chicago, denver, or LA yet
i won't have any time tomorrow, but hopefully wed or thurs

also, sometimes i love online games, but sometimes offline is where it's at too!

you will be so confused it won't be half as scary i bet.

in order to be scared, you have to be invested, and not able to pry your eyes away. the same reason those youtube things where they have some nice music and something interesting going on, and then they have a scary face and loud noise pop up. you have to be interested to be scared

I sent an e-mail like that to my mom, and I made her read it. It was a story about terrorists and you have to read. But the things was, the print was small, so your face had to be next to the monitor, and bam, she got scared so bad.

I do, and I even have surround sound that I use. I'm just not "scared"...it thrills me, but not scared.

My cousin showed me one of those once, and he was right behind me. Right when the pic showed up, he grabbed me hoping I would get scared, but still nothing.

What sound card are you using?

SoundBlaster, and integrated. Man, you guys really want me to be scared. I have $3000 Surround Sound system in my living room (by Polk Audio!), and a 50" Samsung HDTV, and I play there every weekend 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. When I play Doom 3, I never get scared. I tried out the F.E.A.R. Demo there, didn't get scared. Yeah, it has great sound effects in the game, but it makes me think like "wow, nice sound", not like "scary sh!t!"...I don't know, I'm different.

No I seriously don't. Even when there's people trying to scare me by touching me, I still don't.

Whenever my cousing plays Doom 3 at dark, I slowly open the door, so light comes in little by little and he gets scared.

I know what I'm feeling to...nothing! Lol, but there are some things that I get scared of, like maybe some movies? It's fun getting scared when your around some chics from school, they grab you and hug you for the rest of the movie.

And for that Demo thing, I didn't get scared from that at all...

You know what...I'll try the demo again this weekend, and play through the whole thing...see if I get scared.
