Well, I cannot agree that it's 64 bit as the culprit. I've yet to crash once using DX9 executable, but have crashed multiple times whenever the game attempts to move to the next mission or at the end of a cinematic under DX11 executable.
This happens whether in Vista or Win7, and on this system and another one with a 5870.
It could very well be that under 64bit, the DX11 executable is hosed, making them both at fault to some degree.
Whether this same 'bug' causes the 5870 to not detect DX11 features, we'll have to see.
