So this is how you treat someone who was screwed by not you Binge but Steve aka Fitseries3?

Pretty damn sad. Thought we worked things out. Yet your plasting my name as a shaddy person. Also I've never been banned from any forums so I have no idea where your getting that shit from. Not to mention I don't have any bad references either. Now had you been selling your own shit maybe what was actually being sold would have been described properly and there wouldn't have been any problem at all.

Yet you used a third party to do you deeds for you and then run into an issue and plaster my name as being bad all over TPU. That is shitty!

Why don't you really put down what was done and how things were handled. You never threatened suing me then taking me to court. My fiance talked to her bank and told them the situation. It was the banks decision to do what they did since they can't do a partial refund. You want to be pissed about someone be pissed at a major corporation "Chase Bank" Don't come on a forum and twist shit around and don't tell the full story and slander my name.

You know damn well what happened. Your friend fucked me over. Wouldn't fix it although admitting to fucking up. Chase bank saw reciepts and said they will chargback the full amount and for my fiance to resubmit the difference. Which you turned around and refunded without finding out what was going on. At the time of all this I though the paypal account was Steve's not yours I didn't know of you at this time until after the reversal of the difference.

All in all you brought the whole thing on yourself.
1. Having someone else sell your shit and not having them describe things properly.
2. Your friend not giving a shit about his fuck up.
3. Returning the payment which prolonged you receiving any money.

Pretty fucking shitty to come here and try and slander my name when in the end I received what I was entitled to and so did you.

Things should be received as they are represented. If you buy tv from a store which says to include a remote. Wouldn't you expect to have a remote in the box when you get home and not have to get your fat lazzy ass off the couch? Same principle! The build wont be on water until mid May I doubt 2 months after purchase it would have been warrantied had I not been able to test it at the time of receipt. Had I had the cooler that was said by Steve to have come with it. I would have been able to test it and not have to spend another $30 for a cooler to test it.

Sure many of you may not see the point. Why? Because you all know Binge and many know Fitseries3. I'm new here I get that. I'm not new other places. Yet now my rep is fucked here thanks to this thread. Yet I did nothing wrong neither did Binge. Aside from having a third party selling his stuff and not describing the items properly.

I had no problems with Binge during this whole deal. My problem was with Steve. Although I've got a big fucking problem now after seeing this thread!

Alright, calm down... We probably know Fits more than Binge lol

So could you please show us where Fits stated that the CPU came with an HSF? BTW, freaksavior is selling a stock i7 cooler for less than 7$

Oh and I'm not sure this is the best place for this discussion, so if it isn't a Mod please direct us to where we can have this discussion?

That statement is completely irrelevant. I sold an AMD chip a while back advertised as with the heatsink, but unfortunately I forgot it during shipment. The buyer was understanding and I offered him a partial refund, he accepted it and all was well. He had every right to say, "No, I demand the heatsink as it was part of our deal." and I wouldn't have had anything to say.

My point exactly!
What did fits tell me. Oppss sorry I didnt' know it didnt' come with a hsf sorry. Can't make everyone happy.

Thats a great business person. What should have been done was I can refund such and such or send a hsf to you for my mistake.

Now had you been selling your own shit maybe what was actually being sold would have been described properly and there wouldn't have been any problem at all.

So Binge was selling a CPU that was actually in Fitseries possession? Doesn't that sort of circumvent the rules of buying and selling on the forum? Would either Fits or Binge mind clarifying what's going on so that we can all carry on with the original purpose of this thread in confidence.

No, as in I'm sure that if it was advertised as with an HSF, Binge would have paid the 7$ to get him an HSF for sure...

but I am eager to know the whole story

It would be nice for Binge to state the full story instead of what makes me look bad. Considering he got the full amount of money and I ended up receiving what I was told I was getting when I completed the sale with Steve. Yet here is my name slandered all over TPU as some degenerate when that is not the case at all. It would have been nice of Binge once things were sorted out to clear my name and state everything was worked out. Yet he just left it as I'm a measly piece of shit and not to do business with me.

Pretty fucking petty! Hell I've got all the emails between Binge and myself I'll be glad to post those up showing:
1. He never threatened me with court. He mentioned it yet never threatened me with it. We were working things out already before he even said anything about court yet he stated me as a pussy and that I gave his money back when he threatened me. Complete bullshit. I would have welcomed small claims court. Hell I probably would have bought his ticket considering he doesn't have the money to take Chase Bank to court. When it was their decision on the chargeback after reviewing the situation and all the details and information. Not ours.

2. He was glad things were worked out and thanked me for it where I returned the favor and left positive heat for him yet I didn't receive anything in return.

He gets his money and he is happy. Slanders my name then doesn't rectify the slandering. Gets heat which helps his rep and I get dick except the cpu and hsf that caused this whole mess in the first place.

Who got the shit stick end of the deal here?

What I've concluded so far is that Fits middle-manned for Binge in selling Binge's CPU and Fits implied/mentioned/stated that it would come with the heatsink. Binge probably wasn't given specific directions as to what he should have shipped out and apparently Fits didn't do anything about it, or to be more specific offer compensation when scgt1 notified Fits about the missing heatsink. After all, it wasn't Fits' money to refund.

If a partial refund was given or another solution was worked out then I doubt a chargeback would have occured. Binge was probably like a lost duck in a pond and didn't know what was going on until the chargeback happened.

How about scgt1 makes a new thread elsewhere (or better yet, have a moderator split it). Not sure where, though. I know [H] has a Tips, Tricks, & Trolls thread for handling things like this.

Meh, if it started here it should end here, plus it was Binge who brought this issue up.

We should all really reconsider the existence of this thread as problems like these are bound to occur time and time again. I would love for this thread to go on as I've certainly benefited from it but if it puts members at risk of being conned then it needs to stop.

I don't see why you need clarification on the matter. Binge should clear my name.
Here you go though this pretty much sums it all up:

Nail on the head!:rockout:

I hated to sidline Binge like I ended up havening although I never knew the cpu wasn't Steve's even though he claims he told me it was being sold for someone else. Yet all his pms refered to it as "I had it for" and I've had it at" etc Never did he refer to it as someone elses until after the fact.

This isn't the place for this. I see no negative feedback on heatware. You basically just brought the attention to yourself.

1. TPU is not responsible for this transaction. Also, I see no [FS/FT/WTB] thread for it.

2. It's coming down to threads like this cicumvent the B/S/T posting guidelines.

3. The issue is between you and whatever other parties are involved, not the other members of this community.

4. It's not my forum to moderate, but I'm all for removing all ongoing threads from the Hot Deals section, as the original intent of this section is to post deals around the web. See a deal? Make a thread. Creating a thread does not constitue ownership of the thread.

This topic will not be discussed in this thread any further. Any posts after this post will be on topic to the original intent of this thread for as long as it remains open.

Scgt1, you did everything you could to make what happened correct, but only after I paid another set of shipping fees to send you a stock HSF just to show that it was an honest mistake.

I was out $240 for the better part of a week when bills were due, they ended up being paid late. Paypal overcharged my linked checking account because I had around $160 in the PP account which was issued a charge-back by your bank. My bank charges $30 in the event of a lack of funds. This was all covered after my paychecks from a 2nd job I luckily had lined up right before this happened. Great way to enjoy my extra money eh?

Anyone reading this can make their own assumptions about you and doing work with you. I will leave you heatware right now since I finally have time, but I'm not sure what to make it. Honestly it was not pleasant. If it was advertised as a BNIB CPU or LBNIB CPU I would be a lot less salty.
