How To: Enable SLI on pre-i7/i5 hardware

If you go into the UserCP and enter your system specs, you will not have to keep retyping them if you need assistance in the future, and it makes it easier for people to help when they can see all of your hardware specs.

I just ran another test, and yes, current whql and slipatch 0.8beta are working. Ran cryostasis for quite a while. Massive fps increase. Nice job! Only thing I can think of that might be a problem are the gtx4*** cards, I'm sure they are different. I only have gtx260s, so I can't test.

screen goes black, freezes, strong laggs, bsods

Running further tests. Just had a nice run in Dirt, still no issues. Most of my testing for now however is under XP64, so maybe Win7 is the culprit? When I get a chance I'll boot up Win7 and see if I have any problems.

It works perfectly with 257.21...
It doesn't work anymore with 258.96... BSOD, Black screen, freeze screen... Not possible to use the system more than five minutes

Back to 257.21, but very dissapointed because I bought a third screen (for NV surround), I'm waiting for delivering....

It doesn't work anymore with 258.96... BSOD, Black screen, freeze screen... Not possible to use the system more than five minutes

very strange problem. first of all there are some people who has sli-compatible mobos and they got black screen and so on. and also there are some people who has no problem at all with patch and latest drivers. for example johnspack.
it's hard to say it's the patch problem. and hard to say it's driver problem

no. windows 7 64bit. SLIPatch doesnt exists yet which i want you to try it

perhaps i was incorrect. i'm at work now. as i be at home i'll make special patch for windows 7 x64 to you to try it.
