Conductive pen or ink???

I need some of this stuff, but I see its quite expensive for the pen's, but the ink is about a 3rd of the price, but you have to apply it with a fine art brush!

What do you guys recommend?

The ink might be better. I used to apply it with a coctail stick

I have a conductive pen atm, and the tip keeps getting clogged. You don't get as good acuracy, and end up with quite a thick line as well

I can get the ink for £7 and the pen's are like £22, thanks for the advice, save me some penny's and get a better finish!

Its so I can do a vcore mod, I just got some off ebay for £6.85 all in, I will get some cocktail sticks tomorrow from asda lol

where did u get the ink from, random question? coz i used some stuff that fixes the heat lines on the rear windows on cars lol worked well, used cocktail sticks for that 2 :laugh:

I bought 3g off ebay b4, will get it in a few days so I can mess about on the weekend!

The vcore mod says to put electrical tape over a couple of the pins/pads to stop connection, but the little pins on a 775 socket a strong little buggers and im sure they will push through, especially under heat!

Wondering if anyone else has done this mod this way!

Those prices are CRAZY!

I have a pen. I bought that over the "paint" because I throught it would avoid having to buy/clean brushes, and also the point was described as "fine"... so I though it would be better for my lasercut 12-16 pipe mod.

In practice, "fine" is about as think as a 0.7mm pen. Quite fat. And just as 'red says, it clogs all the time. So much is wasted just trying to make it "flow".

I would now recommend the paint and cocktail sticks.

The conductive paint bottle is like a nail-varnish bottle. And the applicator is like a nail varnish brush. Way too thick for these technical mods. You'll still need to get the cocktail sticks.
