Hmm, that might be part of the problem then. I had trouble with .07 under xp64 with 257, so used .08, and works perfect. Wonder if they could make up a .08 patch for win7 32? Hint hint!

agreed, if you can find the problem in the win 7 64bits then you can roll it out to others,

for us guys who game (and use SLI) windows 7 64 bit is the best option anyway, if you arent using it now, you should be.

again any testing you need done anatolymik, let me know, i got a fresh untouched Win 7 partiton sitting here, that can be re imaged in 5 mins, for multiple tries :)

using 2 x GTX470's and AMD chipset

I'll think about Win 7 64

anatolymik "may the Force be with you" :) and "use the force!" ;D

Hmm I've got 2 OS, Win XP 32 and Win 7 32, so... maybe today I'll install Win 7 64 for tests

You might as well try win7 64, everything you have will run just as well as 32 bit, plus if you get 4gigs ram or more it will use all of it. Don't forget, under 32 bit, that 1gig of video ram gets subtracted from your system ram!

anatolymik i might have come up with something, after Batman failing and causing blue screens i got to thinking.

maybe it was the PhysX driver that was causing hassle, i instaled the 257.21 drivers (PhysX driver 09.10.0223)

i then installed the latest beta drivers 260.63, and used the options tab during instal to de-select the PhYsX driver update, and only updated driver and 3d vision driver.

so far i am stable in Batman and Metro 2033, fingers crossed this works

what do you think? could this have been the problem with the newer drivers?

edit: just got a white screen, so it isnt that, damn you nvidia lol

I know NVIDIA protects physics from running if you have NV and AMD card installed. I should to take a look. Thanks!

Right now I'm installing Win 7 64 on my C drive

EDIT: ok... SLI is working, now downloading Heaven Benchmark
EDIT2: Heaven Benchmark result istn't much better: 7 points more but...this was on default clocks! On 690/1485/1170 it's.... better with minimal FPS from 6.9 to 23.9 ;)
EDIT3: 3dMark 2006 got very bad score comparing with Win 7 32 ... 18k vs 22k
EDIT4: I will try new drivers on 64 and 32

tried with win7 x64 on Rampage formula with 258.96 (and physx from 257.21) and in second game test in vantage, black screen (the system was running "below" the black screen as i shutdown-ed it . pressing the power button), switched to 257.21 and everything fine

I can confirm random black screens (computer continues to respond, just no video output) on anything past 257.21, using 2x GTX 275 cards on a GA-890GPA-UD3H (AMD 890GX chipset), running Windows 7 x64 and SLIPatch 0.8.

Random black screens - yea... And sometimes (in 95% cases) after exit game computer get stuck and need button reset. Crysis in SLI mmmm but I'v got white flashes randomly on screen (???)

Hi friends! Can anybody help with x58 machine remotely. I need to connect to debug, but in fact you need to have 2 PC. One x58, another one no matter what, but between themselves they must be connected through firewire to debug and that PC which is not x58 i would use to debug remotely x58. can anybody?

has there been a server crash and this is a back up? there are tons of posts missing, or has it been deleted?

Guys, what's the latest drivers this patch supports? I had 257.62 and I had issues with SLI Enabled, I went back to 190's and now I can have SLI enabled without issues.

Went back to the 258.96 and again having the weird colors appearing again with SLI Enabled. I didn't load the hack though, let me try the hack with these drivers one more time.
