Sharkoon announced the Flexi-Drive Accelerate Duo line of value USB 3.0 flash drives. Available in capacities of 32 GB and 64 GB, the drives are rated to deliver transfer rates of 110 MB/s read and 70 MB/s, internal testing by the company yielded sequential speeds of up to 130.5 MB/s read and 83.7 MB/s write. The drive measures 72 x 19 x 8 mm (L x W x H), weighing around 16 g. The drive uses a sturdy brushed aluminum body. The 32 GB and 64 GB variants are priced at around €70 and €125, respectively.

At this point, USB 3.0 (the new standard) should not cost more than USB 2.0. So my feeling is that 32GB should cost around $50.00 US.

I would agree, but at the same time I can see my way to paying a 10-20 dollar premium for 6x the speed.:D

cmon guys. This is NOWHERE NEAR regular flash stick speed, circa 20MB/s. Remember, this is not just about USB 3.0 controller, but about the flash memory and the memory controller too. This device is up there with generation 1 SSD's. So expect SSD prices.

And look how far we have come! I remember paying $100 for my first USB stick. USB 1.1 and 256MB.

I remember that also, I also remember paying $120 for 16gb USB 2.0, the speed isn't enough to justify those prices.
