Bulldozer + Cebit = WTF!

I haven't seen any info from cebit yet that Bulldozer made any type of apperance and seeing as this is the last day for the expo, I say WTF? Anyone have any info or am I going to have to start murdering some people?

From what I hear, the first showing was delayed due to final bugs being ironed out of the chipset / mobos. Final spec of CPUs and initial (final production) samples have been floating around for at least a month.

If anything, I'd call it a good omen. If they're confident enough to not show it at all this close to launch, they must think performance is pretty good. It's still meant to be launching mid-late April.

That's PR spin, but it does have some sense to it.

Cebit's mainly for the industry as opposed to consumers. Bulldozer will sell very well as long as performance is good and price is reasonable. Llano they need to woo the partners, regardless of how good it is.

P.S. Llano is meant to start appearing in products in July or August. Bulldozer April, or at the very latest early May.

Proceeding analytically and taking as a close example the relatively recent HD6900 release I'd speculate that the final product was designed to compete with the Nehalem i7's and not SB. This doesn't mean that it will be a bad product but that it will just come short again when compared with Intel's current generation. In fact it may be an amazing value product depending on pricing.
The marketing department is keeping it quiet because they realize that and don't want to release any performance sheets which will not be met and may later be used against them.
Instead they'll keep quiet till release and shortly after that will start heavy marketing campaings pulling the value card and promoting performance/price.

We may hear in a week or two how Anand was probably invited to a hotel room somewhere and was secretively shown a working system. Then he's gonna blabber how impressed he was with it and how he can't wait. And then when review date comes he's gonna tore it a new one as usual

I don't believe most of the shit that I find on the net far as reviews, well I do believe Wizz's reviews been right on the money far as graphics go. I am excited to see what AMD comes up with like many are the suspense is too much. No matter the outcome I am sure people will be pleased with it.
