OCZ's Agility 3 is the company's latest mid-range solid state drive based on the Sandforce SF-2281 which supports the SATA 6 Gbps interface. As flash chips Micron 25 nm chips are used which promise to provide excellent performance for this 240 GB SSD.

I love how you don't use synthetic benchmarks which are kind of pointless. Maybe 1 more game level load test would be nice, something really big (what has huge load times).
Gonna buy myself a C300 soon since it's so cheap and blazing read/load speeds.

P.S. excellent review! Keep those SSD review coming! (OCZ Solid 3, Intel 310, Wildfire left haha!)

I know that Empire Total War can take a time to load on my system, but that may be related to my cpu as well, maybe (pc in specs).

any games you have in mind ?

Not on my mind, no :p

But something that is popular, like one of the FPS. I almost suggested a MMO-RPG but that can produce random results as at different times it has to load different models (more or less npcs or players nearby).

yep, also it's a pain with rebenching when they release a new patch

I'll keep my Agility 2, because it is not worth to upgrade. Thanks for the review:).

for long load testing

Try Shogun II, maxed settings with DX11 enabled

DX11 shaders take a long time to load so hopefully an SSD would make for shorter battle load times, which are in the multiple minute range sometimes as high as 5mins on a standard HDD.

@ w1zzard...

I read another review, where the drive doesn't actually fit in a laptop, as the drive is larger than specs show. Was this the case with your sample as well?
