Is it aimed at first time water cooling people? Must be since as linked above you can buy cheaper if you want to do a little work yourself. These people are in for som fun time with no reservoir to bleed the loop, not that it can't be done but if they expect a ready system...

I think if they expect a ready system and want to cool just the CPU, they wouldn't be willing to pay that kind of money on a system when you can buy a Corsair H series or Antec Kuhler for much cheaper. Don't get me wrong, Corsair and Antec don't get any close to a proper water cooling system, but if you just want a CPU cooled and don't want to opt for Corsair or Antec, there's still single rad kits for about $150 or less that will do the job just as well.

I don't understand any of the complaints. This is in another league from the H100. The price matches the performance. This is a full on WC setup with all the hard work done for you. If you're not ready to pay for that performance that's fine but there's no reason to complain about it.

Whats the point in running dual loops off one rad though? Temps aren't going to be any better than running all of that in one loop.

It's about flow and water temps as it the water passes over each heat source. Swifttech guys have given fairly detailed reasoning for why, so rather than butcher what they said, I'll jsut say that how they explained it got my interest.

Will lower temps per component, as well as eliminating the need for dual pump because of block restriction.

As someone who built their first cooling loop about 5 years ago, I can say this would have been fairly nice to have. Looks like an optimal kit to buy with excellent performance and ease of installation. Love the parallel loop and the add on features.

I really don't see anything wrong with it.
In the price, you're paying for convenience as well as quality and performance.
A corsair unit won't come close to this in terms of performance.

Fuck what you mean IF i bought one I'd have to speacial order the AMD mounting kit and then wait for god knows how long for you to send it to me ROFL well then don't expect me to buy one anytime soon

Not to be a dick but honestly if an AMD owner can afford to spend over $200 on extreme cooling they should just spend it on switching to Intel. You'd get better performance out of the chip on an Intel stock cooler than you ever could have gotten out of the AMD rig. There's a reason many coolers don't include AMD mounts by default. The whole setup just doesn't make a lot of practical sense. You max out an AMD rig and what can you say? You spent an assload to max out an AMD rig. Max out an Intel rig and what can you say? You spent an assload to get top tier performance. You can complain as an AMD fan but the market agrees that kind of rig just doesn't make sense.

I have 2 AMD rigs both of which are completely WC'd and one of them by this swiftech H220 Edge.

I love the swiftech but I will admit the pump, being so powerful is very noisey at full speed. That said I keep it on min and have never had a problem.

If Swiftech would offer a 2x 140mm version I'd be interested, but right now, an H100 is half the price and probably 90% the performance.

Go ahead and try to expand on the H100...you cant.

What this kit is, basically, is a custom loop with superior parts over all in one kits with a lot of room for expansion (made for an enthusiast with an eye to expand). The cheaper and almost as effective corsair kit is a closed loop, using an inferior pump and cannot expand at all (made for beginners).
