I'm on level 7 for now. Just wondering did you make your own dragon armour and/or weapons?

Yes I did end up making my own armor and weapons.
I have only made complete sets of Dwarven, Orcish and Ebony armour so far.
This is so I can enchant them how I want them to be enchanted with having a complete armour kit of the same type.
Although some times my enchantments are not as good as what I can find within another armour type but I am getting there with enchantments.
I also make the armour for any NPC I use as a travel companion along with weapons.
Only thing about enchanted weapons with a travel companion is they do not recharge them, even if you have placed soul gems in their inventory and they are able to capture souls themselves.

I think you need to get smithing up to 100 to make dragon armor.

Yep 100 smithing gets you Dragon.

WTF, how did you craft full Daedra, then get to Dragon and not have enough mats to make a set. When I hit 100 crafting I had enough Bones and Scales to make 2 full sets + a shield, plus Reinforce a set and a half of Dragon Armor. Yet I only had 2 Daedra Hearts (granted I do have the Ebony to make the Daedra Set).

I have come across a bug where the movable pillars were not moveable when they were supposed to be.
The time the pillars were not movable, a book which a dead character was supposed to be holding in it's inventory somehow ended up on a throne instead.

When I hit 100 crafting I had enough Bones and Scales to make 2 full sets a shield, plus Reinforce a set and a half of Dragon Armor. Yet I only had 2 Daedra Hearts (granted I do have the Ebony to make the Daedra Set).

I have mats for the dragon armour but not for the full set with legendary upgrades,i managed to upgrade the daedra set to legendary,is less difficult because you can buy the daedra hearts.

The games really fun, stuck on a quest though >< They need some better guidance system!

Be careful sometimes you have to re-check your Journal and make sure the quest is still selected. Happened to me a couple of times.

For a couple of quests I didn't get any markers either. Like "Clear Falkreath Hold" which is a very large area above the town of Falkreath..

Also some puzzles are difficult. You'll know it when you reach a point where you have to rotate 4 pillars to open a gate...

herp derp guy at the sky forge in whiterun aka the smithy above the Companion guild trains you in smithy up to a max of 90 it gets expensive quick.

Where is the best area to purchase houses?

Whiterun has a house for only 5k. If all you care about is having a place to unload your junk, that's it.

Anyone had to battle two dragons at the same time?
Fortunately they were weak dragons and slayed in a few seconds as they both decided to land on the ground.

I saw a vid of somebody fighting three dragons plus some other things. Pretty funny as the dragons were actually attacking each other too. The guy was a pure mage, so he was going through potions like crazy every time he got hit.

Heard about the perk limit.
Fortunately I'm not fussed about maxing them out.
I am happy enough with getting a few select top perks in specific areas.

My character is already lethal enough as it is.
Mainly concentrating on getting the top enchanting perk at the moment.

I used the skill perk selector tool I posted earlier and found out that by level 50 I can have all the perks I want. That's if I were to make a new character though, so hopefully there's a console command for me to just reset my perks.

I'm at 40 smithing and level 10. Had some time to play a few hours today.

I have found the best way to level smithing is to hunt animals, gather leather. Then run to base, make a 2 to 1 ratio of leather to leather strips and spam leather braces. Costs 2 leather strips and 1 leather to make 1, and you can level very fast.

That's exactly what I do. Although, if I have some iron I want to get rid of, then I'll do the iron daggers first.

Is that full daedra kit heavy or light? I only use light.

That's exactly what I do. Although, if I have some iron I want to get rid of, then I'll do the iron daggers first.

Yeah I do the iron daggers as well.
Wondered how a friend reached 100 smithing skill within a couple of days of playing Skyrim.
But he's also done something to get 1.5million.
He's on XBOX BTW so no command console.
But then he also found a bug with one of the NPCs which allows him to continue to train with them even though he has reached the training limit.

Just do some of the Daedra missions. merhunes dagon, Azura spring to mind as having enough deadra to give you a full set of armour. I think azura will drop 3 hearts on going into the gem, and Mehunes dagon (mythic dawn){go visit the museum} drops 2 outside his shrine, and a further 3 inside....

That's 2 missions that will net you enough hearts for a full suit (4) shield (1) Weapon (1) and another item as well.

i managed to tap out enchanting and smithing today... Both at 100. I now have the bow doing 220 damage + arrow. It's enough that i 2 shotted a dragon this afternoon! Stealth FTW.

Enchants seem to cap at 40% skill boost. And you can't put the best enchants on all your armour, For archery you are limited to ring, neck, gloves, helm. Meaning a max boost of 160% from enchants with the ability to add 2 enchants to items the percentage does not drop per enchant, so i currently have 160% archery and 160% stealth.

If you want to get the most from enchants get the Black star instead of azura's star. It's the same mission with a different ending, The black star lets you cap human souls and it is not consumed when you use it to enchant. So a simple guard kill in a town then run and fast travel back to do your enchants will let you cap out your max enchants on armour pretty easy.

Also soul trap 1-2 sec on a bow is a pretty sweet as you can get guards humans at max range and there buddies will not find you, allowing you to fast travel a hell of a lot faster. Just be careful of the soultrap effect lighting you up like a candle. If your at max range then it shouldn't be a problem!

I don't mind upping my smithing skills via iron daggers and other ways to increase Destruction and other skills through innovative ways, but I refuse to use cheats in a game I paid $60cad for.

Both the XBOX 360 and PS3 are quite similar, but the PC version looks "MUCH" better. My bro has this game on his 360 and my PC version blows it out of the water in terms of Picture Quality and he's running his game on a 47" HDTV Plasma while I am using my trusty ASUS 24" LED monitor.
