Yes, I just received it yesterday morning...

Since I received it, I've realized how broken some of my quests were, and I hadn't known before

I decided to read the Companions' Quests since I finished that. Now I found out that it's not normal to get ten radiant quests of 'Animal Extermination', 'Family heirloom' or to 'Escaped criminal'. According to the Guide those are level 1 radiant quests of the Companions. As you progress through the Companions' "Main Quests" you'll then get level 2 radiant quests, and when you finish the Companions' Quests you'd get level 3 radiant quests.

I had begun to suspect something was amiss when this started to get very repetitive...

way too repetitive and boring........ to the point I was starting to wonder when I could ever finish these quests!

and now I feel stupid

Which also reminds me, many pages ago I had posted in this thread about the achievements for the Companions and Mages College Quests not showing up on Steam, even though I've completed them till the end. (See spoiler above and re Mages College I also have the

I'm pretty sure this has to do with my broken radiant quests. It's not Steam which hasn't realized they're completed, but even the game won't proceed. And though I haven't tried any radiant quests of the Mages College it's likely I'd get the repetitive stuck quests I got with the companions...

I bought it finally.


Runs well on my hardware with all the settings cranked to ultra and V-sync on I get only the occasional micro stutter. Using the 360 controller as that is what it setup to use since it was plugged in.


Compared to morrowind I'm actually really getting into this game. All though the haul around limit sucks as after I go rampaging I find that I have to leave items behind.

if you use a potion to up your carry weight, you can quick travel in that 60 seconds or so, it just wears off when you arrive

I found this rather strange considering it takes many hours in game to fast travel, yet carry weight only lasts real world 60 seconds if you are not fast traveling.

It's not a really bad thing personally though.

Hey guys I'm trying to fix some LOD problems I've been getting since I've installed the "3d map" mod...

I know there are a few other compatible mods that make this one better... for instance, there's one that adds roads to the 3d map...

Nevertheless, I've constantly run into this problem:

When inside of any town, I always have lower LOD or Low res textures for everything that is outside the city... If I look above a city wall to look at the scenery outside, everything seems to be lowered in terms of res or LOD...

I've been wondering if any of this had to do with the "uLockedLOD..." values in the .ini file... but I'm not sure...

Is there anyone here who could shed some light on this matter for me pls ???

Download Nexus Mod Manager.

Then from the Skyrim Nexus website download the mods you want clicking "download with manager". The manager will do all the work for you and it's very easy to enable/disable or completely uninstall mods without having to search for the individual files in Skyrim/Data.
