NVIDIA Releases the 301.10 WHQL Driver for the GeForce GTX 680

what the fking dick?!!!?!?!?!? ~$850AUD!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL! Why does the US get it for $500! I DEMAND ANSWERS!

In all seriousness though why o' why does it cost 65% more in Australia. Is there any way of getting it shipped to Australia from the US?

Edit: nevermind found some for just under $700 although thats still might overpriced imo.

It'll cost around $900 USD here in Norway. I'll buy two and send you one for free, you poor thing.

:/ that sucks man. I have ot admit I kinda overreacted because I didn't check other stores first so yeh. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.

How much are gtx 580's for you guys?

Also in my geography class last year during my last year at high school, we were told how Norway is one of the most expensive places to live. Now I see the facts :O.

It's no excuse but I think I just had enough of all the inflated price here in Australia for products when you compare it to the US.

yeah you aussies are getting it up the arse big time! I have family down under and feel your pain as well. Makes no sense to me when the fuckers are manufactured in the same region as you and shipping would be alot less!!? and your dollar is worth more then the usd$ so what the hell I say!

Hehe. We're going to see a lot of reviews that don't want to show high AA and AF settings.

And so much for Nvidia's made up TDP.

Please tell me they're going to enable control panel FXAA for older cards.

Don't see any technical reason for them not to enable at least some of these on past GPUs. But it looks like this release is 680 only.

Haha I wasn't offended, just making a point :)

GTX 580 at Komplett.no currently goes from $570 for stock Zotac models to $720 USD for a liquid cooled PNY card.

7950 goes from $620 to $950 USD.

I have been using these drivers with a modded inf for my GTX560ti. Adaptive Vsync works and works amazingly well.

World Of Warcraft DX11 with max settings now plus additional ambient occlusion at High feels smooth even though it drops down to as low as 35fps at some points.

The transition from vsync on at 60fps to vsync off below that is not evident at all(other than very minimal tearing) With afterburner running in the background with the framelimiter at 60fps it also eliminates any potential mouse lag when vsynced at the 60fps.

I urge any Nvidia User to try these with a modded inf as they also incorporate FXAA in the control panel as well. (Previously only available through injectors or Inspector)

Going to try alot more games and report back but so far looking like great drivers. I also had a bump in performance.
