Good to know although there's no need or justification to replace my SB with IB. Haswell could be an option next year but that's a different story. I see an option for those with an SB i3 to upgrade to a superior Ivy chip.

Haswell will be an entire new socket (1150).

Haswell will be an entire new socket (1150).

I know, that's why I said for those with the 2500k/2600k/2700k this BIOS update is not so important because Ivy is not bringing much to the table (except for heat... when overclocked at certain freq.) My opinion.

I like how they photoshopped an AMD processor on the "promotion" page with all the BIOS links. Besides that, I'll probably upgrade my Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 tonight.
