Following launches of its GeForce GTX 660 and GTX 650 graphics processors earlier this day, NVIDIA released the latest stable version of its GeForce driver suite. GeForce 306.23 WHQL was released for Windows 7/Vista and Windows XP. This is NVIDIA's first WHQL-signed driver launch after GeForce GTX 660 Ti was launched last month. Hence, it includes official support for GeForce GTX 660 Ti, GeForce GTX 660, and GeForce GTX 650. The company also notified that the next WHQL-signed drivers will remove support for legacy GeForce GPUs such as 6-series and 7-series.

GeForce 306.23 WHQL also adds GPU and game-specific performance improvements. Along with the latest patch by its developer, Total War: Shogun 2 will see up to 60% performance improvement with GeForce GTX 680. Performance is also significantly improved for games such as Batman: Arkham City, Dragon Age II, STALKER: Call of Pripyat, and Battlefield 3 (in SLI). SLI profiles were added or improved for a large number of games. The drivers provide early support for applications built with CUDA 5 Preview.

should I be scared to upgrade to this with my SLI 670s? Pixel Clock Rate is supposed to be butchered down to 330~ on SLI with these drivers.

Pixel clock on a 1080p 120Hz panel is under 300MHz. Why would NVIDIA suddenly alienate 3D Vision approved 1080p displays ?

In reality it effects people who are overclocking 2560*1440 panels, which are limited to about 82Hz refresh on NVIDIA cards already.

Indeed. That is my issue, I want one of these new IPS's from overlord and they are 2560x1440 and I am afraid of getting one. Luckily Toasty's fix is still working on these so no worries :nutkick:

Whenever I see 560, I update in the hope some improvements carry over to my 460s. Both are Fermi and both are similar in design. But I never get around to testing to see if it is true.

660 Ti's red-screen-of-death

hi, i have some issues with my newly bought system. with MSi 660 Ti Power edition

after installing windows like usual, also after testing some games, the screen of the monitor suddenly turned red. the whole screen. and it stucked like that endlessly. after rebooting, the same problem occured. i've tried uninstalling all the suspected programs that might have caused it but all was to of no avail.

i know i'm a noob, therefore i wish to ask your advice. TQ in advance

I am not sure what fix you are looking for? I am playing with one GTX 660ti and it seems to be working just fine. Am I missing something? Not picking a fight just not sure what I am missing here. :toast:
It had a problem in GW2 with Ambient Occlusion turned on in the nvcp, wherein some objects would go "transparent"..
