In addition to a trio of Z77 motherboards, MSI also showed off its first Gaming Series branded graphics card, the N660Ti PE Gaming Series. Based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti, the card looks virtually identical to the GTX 660 Ti Power Edition, with a couple of purely cosmetic changes. The blue streak on the cooler shroud makes way for a red one, and the fan impellers bear the Gaming Series dragon-head decal. It features clock speeds identical to the OC variant, with 1019 MHz core, 1097 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. It features 2 GB of memory across a 192-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

Really? I don't know much about the Twin Frozr IV but the Twin Frozr III on my GTX660 is really quiet. The fans speed stays low most of the time considering the GPU doesn't get very hot under gaming load.

Keep waiting, NVIDIA being NVIDIA doesn't let anyone to touch their reference design.

I don't realistically expect a non-reference board, but we've already got Titans shown sold with waterblocks and the like (Inno3D "iChill" Titan/Accelero Hybrid fitted on reference to be sold), I don't see why custom air cooling would be restricted.

+1

MSI's Twin FrozR coolers are pretty damn good. I have a Twin FrozR III on my 680 (and i should have another 680 arriving shortly) and it keeps my card around 50-56'c when gaming and doesnt sound like a hair dryer. In fact, the fans on my PC are louder when i crank them up to 80-90% at the start of a session of BF3 or ARMA III Alpha, So in a way you can say that i can barely hear the noise of the GPU fans compared to the 6970s which i had previously. they were a pair of leaf blowers

Its really not that bad, It will look like its black inside your case unless you have a windowed side panel and more lighting then a UFO with christmas lights and LEDS wrapped around it then Its hardly noticable

Well. I know they lose lots of customers when using strange PCB colors, including myself. So i don't get it.

And yes, its def. noticable.

Well. I know they lose lots of customers when using strange PCB colors, including myself. So i don't get it.

Id hardly say they are losing lots of customers because of it. I have just purchased another MSI GTX680. PCB looks kind of dark brown but I dont care Because

#A - I dont have a windowed sidepanel

#B - I look at my monitor/screen (I occasionally look at my keyboard when typing depending how drunk I am) when using the computer not at my graphic cards.

How do you know they lose lots of customers?
Lets see some factual evidence rather then just some 'thumbs down' when you go ask your friends if would they buy this MSI graphics card.

Like i said, Unless youre gonna light your case up with a 100watt light bulb - you really wont see the difference.

If i was to give you an example... Look at Noctua - the blades on their fans are turd brown while the rest of the fan looks like a some cream thats gone way past its sell by date.

People complain about the colour of Noctua fans all the time but yet people still buy their products.

thus proving there are people out there who just dont give a f**k when it comes to colour schemes.

Unless you are a case modder and you have to build a machine using certain colours or themes then really you have no right to complain.

as with everything else in life you have a choice - Buy or Dont Buy nobody is forcing you to buy something if you dont want to.

Id give you more examples but I think id probably be wasting my time as you wont listen.

Each to their own anyway... Just because you dont like and care for their products doesnt mean everyone feels the same way as you.

I'm sticking with Asus motherboards and Sapphire GPU's, my two favorite companies for quite some time now.
