The Cooltek is an extremely light, full aluminum Mini-ITX case. It features a simple but effective design, the ability to hold a full ATX power supply, and keeps overall dimensions as compact as possible.

This tiny case actually has a lot of potential. You can put in a mini mATX ( 22.5x17.5cm ) board, Gigabyte B75M-D2V, for example. There was a FaceBook media link about it but outdated now, I may ask the owner to post it up later. The mainboard fits perfectly.

Max length for VGA is about the size of a reference GTX660ti, with ( maybe ) a little longer custom cooler, but the airflow wil be very limited if you sneak in a 3.5" HDD like on the picture below:

Except that obviously you won't have access to the 3rd and 4th slots on an MATX board. Also I'm worried about the graphics card, airflow looks limited. IMO they should've provided at least 1 fan at the front of the case to push air through.

Also, 1x USB3 and 1x USB2? NO. Just NO. 2x USB3 or GTFO.

I'd say that's a plus. I can't remember the last time I used a disc.

Nice case, I'd rank it higher as this is a positive for me: "No 5.25" drive bay"

Had wanted to get this case for my wife's new system last month but couldn't find it for sale. Ended up spending a little more for a Lian-Li PC-Q25. Like the Coolcube, has clean front and sides.

Not bad.

Complaint: What's with the power cord bending up?
Needs to be at 180 degrees not 90.
I suppose that's a condition of how the power supply is mounted, manufactured and what AC cord is supplied with the PSU.
In this example it looks bad. How is the strain relief going to work?

Also, what can bee done about how pictures are viewed. Having to open each one individually by double clicking the image is a PITA.

As I said, potential. Since mATX boards are much cheaper than ITX ones, I'd accept the unusable of last PCI slot.

About VGA : yes, it's not recommended to put in any VGA that TDP rating is over 75w.

Great review, this case is ok for a simple ITX build, I would rather get the CL Mercury S3 ;);)

I agree it is rather annoying would be nice if we could view pic's like on the front page.

I love these aluminum stylish ITX cases. I want to build a powerfull steam machine (with XBMC for media options) for gaming. I wonder if these stylish cases with the right cooling could house high end CPU & GPU's when applying the right after market cooling. Anyone have good resources to see if this is possible with cases like these (there are also aluminium cube's a bit bigger from cooltech, DIYPC, LianLi etc..)

This tiny case actually has a lot of potential.......picture below:

But why is it on it's side, and why is the PSU over the CPU cooler?
It wouldn't be too hard to put a fan in front.
